Simple sheet cake for my son's b-day. Mario is a BCT.

Sea turtle is RCT covered w/fondant and cc's were decorated w/chocolate shells to go along w/ocean theme.
The lego man is made using the silicone cake pan from the Lego store. The customer provided it. I tried twice to bake cake in it with no luck. So I ended up just using chocolate in it.
I saw this cookie cutter/texture mat set on GSA and thought the cookies were so beautiful that I just had to have it! These are NFSC and RBC w/pearl dragees and brushed with luster dust. I had a hard time getting a nice photo.
Small cake for the staff of my children's school. 6" and 8" tiers covered in BC and then "stucco'd" with thinned BC to get the texture. Snowflakes are cut from MMF.
These are NFSC w/RBC. This was my first time using RBC. I liked working with it and will absolutely use it again. These are for a school fundraiser.
This was for a little girl who wanted a b-day cake with a picture of her on her purple bike on the cake. The image is a BCT.
Ever since I saw these in a Wilton Yearbook I have wanted to make them and I finally got the chance. Heads, pillows and blankets are MMF. My husband had my camera, so I couldn't take my own pics. Customer was gracious enough to e-mail me a pic.
Simple little cc's. Tip 127 petals and tip 12 centers.
6, 8, 10" rounds w/BC. Used upside down icing method to frost. Roses are fondant. (They are "Duff" roses...very simple. My 6 y/o made some of them!) Ribbon is real. Used an impression mat for the dots.
12" and 8" rounds. Inspired by WIlton design. Curlicues, polka dots and letters are fondant.
Inspired by the kit kat cakes I've seen on CC. It is a 2-layer 9" cake. Took 10 packs of Kit Kats! It was a hit at our family Christmas dinner.
I made this for a Sunday school teacher. Roses were done w/peach and yellow BC.
I wanted to do something kind for my children's VBS teacher to express my gratitude. I made the pattern by tracing an actual flip flop. NFSC's w/fondant decorations.
This is a 6" cake w/cupcakes to match. I bought the little plastic rattles and diaper pins at a Dollar Tree store and wanted to incorporate those colors in the cake so I made the multi-colored fondant flowers for this reason. Booties on cake are made from marshmallows.
BC frosting w/fondant flowers and letters. The booties are made from marshmallows.
Flowers are made from MMF.
I saw a cake like this in a book I purchased by Lindy Smith. I really wante to do something similar, so here's what I came up with. The petals are MMF.
Made this to take to work to share tomorrow. I didn't have enough pink polka dots and no time to make more MMF, so I had to improvise and use some yellow. Got the idea from a Wilton Book.
