Having a church choir party tonight. This is a 12x18 sheet w/BCT. I cracked the top surface a little when lifting it after I had decorated it. ARGH!
This is a CCC I made for a kick-off party for Pioneer Club. We did the Fiesta VBS, so the party is a fiesta theme.
My 1st attempt at tiered cake. 8" & 6" rounds. Also first time using the comb on sides of cake. Hadn't made roses since taking course 1 in April, they could be better. Used straws as supports & wooden dowel in center to stabilize.
This is for my preschooler class at church tomorrow. It's a cupcake cake; so easy to serve. Esther is an edible image I printed. Esther's Hebrew name means star, so I added a few. I'm going to let them watch the Esther video & eat cake after our lesson.
I added a couple flowers to try and spruce it up alittle.

1/4 sheet w/BC. Image is BCT. First time to make a little smash cake-used a 4" springform pan and it worked great. Hope they like it. This is my 2nd cake made to sell.
I wanted to try a flip flop cake. It's pathetic. My fondant straps didn't match the blue in the flip flop so I had to ice the fondant. Blue is way too dark. I should've used a contrasing color instead of doing it all blue. I'll do better next time. Thanks to BJ for answering my questions. OH forgot to say it's a red velvet cake w/cream cheese frosting.
Nascar b-day cake. Got lucky and found the little flags and Nascar candle at a little store in town.
Cake for a special uncle. My 4/0 did the art and then we printed it on a frosting sheet. He loved it! We gave him the card to match the cake.
This is for a co-worker who is moving out of state. I wanted to omit the border, but couldn't get nice straight edges, so I piped on a star border. Had bought the little ejector set & never used it, so I used it today to add little flowers to the border. I messed up my lettering, but was afraid to try and remove the white piece of MMF to replace it. Oh well...practice makes perfect.
Cake for July 4th gathering. 11x15 sheet w/BCT. I made a press using piping gel on wax paper and let it harden to do the lettering. Worked well.
This is a thank you cake for the hospital that treated our dog a couple weeks ago. My first attempt at reverse shell border. It needs some work.

My dog was in a horrible accident & had emergency surgery. These are a thank-you for a co-worker who worked for me one evening so I could be home w/doggie. No-Fails w/MMF. Writing on bones done w/royal.
White Chocolate cake w/raspberry mousse filling. The frosting wasn't easy to smooth, but tasted divine. We had company for dinner, so I thought I'd decorate for the kids. The kids loved it and so did the adults. Love my printer/frosting sheets.

Was practicing today. I try to give my practice cakes away. Did this one for our local library. This is my 2y/o son's favorite book. It's a froxen BCT. Wasn't sure about the chhek color. I applied it with my fingertip dipped in diluted gel coloring. I'm getting better & having lots of fun.
Made these for practice w/left-over cookie dough (Martha Stewart recipe which I don't really care for) and MMF. Experimented on faces. Some painted on paste coloring and some done w/edible markers.
We did this cake for a special lady at church. We created the picture and printed on frosting sheet.
My very first time to make and use MMF. I LOVE IT!!! So much fun. I used Martha's Sugar cookie recipe this time and will return to No-Fails.

Made this for a special aunt. I do lots of crafts w/my 2 & 4 y/o. We created the artwork and then I printed it on an edible image. The ink/printer was a great investment. I'm having a blast with it.
