Rascal
I did this cake for the River City Rascals. They are our local semi-pro baseball team. This is Rascal, their mascot. The head, legs and feet are styrafoam, the body is cake. This stood 26 inches tall.....the biggest cake I've ever done. The drive over delivering this was the most scary trip I've ever taken in the car...but he made it in once piece.

Chocolate Love
This cake was made for a close friends wedding, the only instruction she gave me was she wanted sage green accents, chocolate covered strawberries and it must be non-traditional and romantic without hearts, and her wedding flower was the daisy. This is what I came up with for her. The top tier is a carved pillow cake atop of two gift boxes. The lids are made of gumpaste and are propped up with foam blocks cut at an angle. There are over 50 chocolate covered strawberries on it.

Baby Ducky
My soon to be 10 year old daughter decorated this cake. I was busy with a wedding cake this weekend so she volunteered to decorate our family reunion/baby shower cake. She came up with the idea, drew up plans, I baked and covered - she did all the decorating. She even air brushed herself. She is the rock star of decorating.

Red & Black Art Deco
I did this cake for a local show. I wanted to try something dynamic with contrasting colors and this is what I ended up with. It is a 10", 8", 6" and 4" dummy cake. The pieces are colorflow. The black and white cakes were airbrushed.....never again will I do that. I had red and black everywhere for weeks! I was inspired by mthiberge's Classy Black and White cake.

Kat's Basket Of Leaves
I know there are a million of these up here, and I have no idea who originally came up with this so whoever your are....thank you. This cake was done by my 9 year old daughter for thanksgiving. She made the leaves out of gumpaste and even air brushed them by herslef. I literally did nothing on this cake! I just talked her through it. She did awesome and I'm very proud of her.

Flaming 50 Guitar
This is my 3rd or 4th guitar cake, this one was for a 50th birthday for a rock -n roll theme party. I tried a new system for attaching the strings, I like it best so far. I thank God for pre-colored Satin Ice - Red and Black - saved a ton of time! The back stage pass was printed on paper then laminated, I thought it added a special touch, I'd love to do this in gumpaste one day. Thanks for looking!!

Piece Of Cake
Here is my first attempt at one of these types of cakes. I've long admired the others on CC. I only had a few hours to pull this all together, so it fell short of my goal - but it was a great learning experience. It's an 8". It tasted great though, alternating chocolate and white russian cake with choc ganache filling.

Pink Cowboy Hat
I'd like to thank thecakemaker for the wonderful tutorial! It was so much easier that I thought it would be. I made mine with a 16" brim and the cake part was an 8" oval. The "M" is royal icing painted with old gold luster dust. The band was made with fondant with an extruder and painted gold, with gold dragee's. Learned lots, can't wait to try it again.

Hooked By Jenny
This was my cousins grooms cake, her husband is a big fisherman. It's suposed to be a Mahi-Mahi fish - I cut it it alittle fat to feed more people. I was excited to play with my airbrush - first time using it with more than just one color. Never tried a fish cake before - it was a lot easier than I thought. I based it off of a real Mahi-Mahi fish I printed off the internet.

Square Daisy Grooms Cake
45 minute drive, raining and humid, hilly windy road.....a cake disaster in the making. Collapsed in the cary - I wanted to die! Fortunately, I got a pic before. The couple was nice about it - cut it up and served the bottome tier at the party, got the top layer looking ok and displayed it, fortunately, it still tasted good. Spice cake with vanilla caramel bc. I also did their wedding cake and it looked great.

Froggy Twins Baby Shower
This cake was my first with my new airbrush. Non of the colors came out the way I wanted them, still have lots to learn! This cakes looks nothing like I had planned, but I'm pleasedwith how it came out. It's a yellow cake with chocolate chips, chocolate ganache filling, vanilla carmael bc, and Toba Garrett fondant. Drew inspiration from Stefy froggy cake.

Circles & Stripes
This was for my girl's combined birthday party - they are now 9 & 4. We wanted to try something different so after going through pictures on cc and many books - this is what we came up with. This one was hard to cut, we all really loved it. I drew a lot of inspiration from Collette. It's all mmf and painted. The spirals are wires with color flow dots, gumpaste bows and roses. Lots of fun to do. Thanks for looking
