Lemon Whipped Cream and cream cheese filling

This is similar to the frosting on Olive Garden’s lemon cake, it is AWESOME!!

Lemon Whipped Cream and cream cheese filling


  • 1 8oz pkg cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 T fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream


  1. Whip Heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In separate bowl whip cream cheese until fluffy, and slowly add powdered sugar. Mix until well incorporated, and add lemon juice.
  2. Carefully fold in whipped cream, and enjoy!
  3. This is also good with orange juice instead of lemon, and sometimes I add a box of vanilla pudding and 1/2 tsp lemon extract to the whipped cream, MMMmmmm!!!!

    I try not to notice lol!

Does this seep into the cake or is it firm enough for a white cake? What's the ratio or recipe with the pudding? Do you just add the pudding mix to the original recipe? I would really appreciate your answer as I want to use this tomorrow. Thank you.
