Prince Aidyn's 1St Bd Cake

This was my son's first birthday cake. Top- tiramisu w/ bavarian cream filling, middle- keylim w/- cream cheese filling, bottom- chocolate w/ baavarian cream filling. Iced in cream cheese and covered in Chocolate MMF w/ MMF accents, g I spent all week on his cake and cookies and was about to cry when the cake topple over! This was my first attempt w/ wedges for the whimisical effect. I think I didn't dowel the cake all the way through and with Texas heat it started to melt and then buckled and toppled over.

What a great job! You can tell all the hard work you put into it. The cakes sound delicious. Wish I could have been there to taste all of them.

I forgt to mention this is not my design, I was inspired by pinkbunny . Thanks for the nice compliments though. JRAE33 - it is suppose to be a topsy turvy cake, but halfway through the party the cake actually toppled over onto the table.

It's a very nice cake; I can only imagine next year's :D Can you p.m. me and let me know which recipe or just how much choc. you use in your MMF; I love how dark it is! TIA :)
