Thanks to all. It's for a little girl turning 5. I used # 18 gauge wire. It's a little stiff but I can get it for 67 cents a bundle versus 1.67 a bundle for the next size smaller. Doesn't make sense does it?
Can I please ask how you get the wire so perfectly formed...my always seems to get 'kink's in it, I also have trouble getting the fondant balls or decorations to stay on the wire...what do you use?? I had heard to use stir sticks to put the wire into the cake...but then my wire with decoration on it starts spinning whereever it pleases, and can't seem to figure out how to keep it all in place. Can you help?? Thank you sooooo much!! Your cake is adorable!!
