Miniature Roses Cake

Miniature Roses Cake on Cake Central

Made this one today just playing around. 2" and 4" pound cakes iced with buttercream. Leaf tips 68 and 70 used for borders. Tip 352 for leaves. Purchased the little clay roses at Michael's and cut apart to place individually.

very pretty - how do you ice that small of cakes??? I've done a 4" and had so much trouble with it moving around on me...

I put some icing on the bottom of the cake (2" layer) and put it on a cardboard cake board. Crumb coat it then place on top of finished 4" layer.

Beautiful cake! I also love the borders! Great job! I too, have problems icing such small cakes! The entire cakeboard moves around on me! Yikes...and I have to make a small wedding cake this weekend (4", 6" and 8")!
