Madonna Cake
One of my earlier designs for a producer at MTV Networks. Cake is covered with buttercream. Cherry filling. Portrait drawn free-hand and sculpted with buttercream. Clothing details: fondant, dragees. Lettering in royal icing. Lightly airbrushed. It was very difficult for me to capture the expression in the face, and took several tries before I thought it was acceptable. Cake was featured on one of MTV Network programs.
Wow! I drew this same pic in art class back in HS! She is a hard image to capture, and you did an amazing job! Amazing cake...and freehand too, you have my respect!

Thank you. I did this cake a number of years ago. In hindsight, I would have done the buildings differently or left them out altogether.
