Asian Themed Baby Adoption Shower
Chocolate ganache covered cake with canolli filling. Photo shot with my camera phone onsite. Since both parents are Asian and they are going to China to adopt a little girl, I thought it would be unique to design an Asian theme cake instead of the traditional pink. The moth orchids are made from gumpaste, as is the fortune cookie & bamboo. I hand painted the baby using an original photo of the toddler. Gumpaste fortune cookie has a Happy Adoption message.
