From the last century, bells held their place as the iconic wedding symbol for a few decades. This retro Wedding Cake was recreated to mark the occasion of a 50th anniversary. The hostess supplied the inset photo as inspiration. The bells were cast in granulated sugar and the narcissus flowers were made of royal icing. Nearly 10 cups of white buttercream were used to decorate the three tiers; the top two were chocolate on chocolate and the bottom was vanilla filled with fresh strawberry buttercream.
