I made this cake for a lady who LOVES the "Twilight" books. I incorporated all 4 books. The cake is 100% edible. I sculpted all of the elements on top from modeling chocolate. The apple is 2 hostess cupcakes turned on top of one another and covered in modeling choc. The stem is a wooden dowel rod going all the way throught the cake to hold the apple on..it is covered on top with mod. choc.
