This is the first buttercream cake I have made in a LOOOOONG time. I much prefer fondant. But since it was a 50th anniversary, they wanted the style of the cake to be similar to cakes back in the day of the wedding, so this is what I came up with. Roses and leaves are royal icing. I airbrushed the leaves gold. Thanks for looking!
