That is absolutely beautiful. Ok, silly question. Did you use the tomato paste cans as the handle or did you bake cake in the cans and use the cake for the handle?
I baked cake in two cans. After I removed them from the cans I froze them until firm and iced with buttercream and rolled in fondant. I think I need therapy,I see everything as a potential cake!! LOL
great cake. But did the dondant melt when you placed it on the cold butter cream. I tried to put fondant on a cold butter cream iced cake and in the morning it made mess so i had to re ice at rom temperature
Hi to crishna no I had no trouble with the fondant melting, It made it much easier for me to get the fondant smooth on the handle.Tye, I used a small flat candy dish with a cake board cut to sit on top of it "glued "on with icing.I than "glued" the bouquet to that and ran a wooden skewer through the handle and into the cake. I hope this helps.
8O oh my goodness!!!! u r sooo gd! could i bother u with the steps on how to make the lovely flowers. pls email me at [email protected]. definitely 1 of my favourites.
