In the '80s MBN featured a decorator who did really different creations - most w/o borders. She baked in 11" sq pans and cut & pieced into different shapes. This cake is a take off of that work. I baked in an oval pan & did minimum carving. All work except flowers is buttercream. Flowers are mostly royal.
