Elmo - Icing Smiles Cake
Elmo was made for the 10th birthday of a very special Icing Smiles child. It is lemon funfetti, filled and frosted with lemon buttercream, covered in white chocolate ganache (colored red) and fondant. The arms and legs are Rice Krispy Treats with modeling chocolate hands and feet, all covered with fondant. The large eyes and nose are made of styrofoam covered with fondant. Elmo's birthday cake is the same lemon cake as his body.
Beaded Wedding Cake
This is a cake for my co-worker. The colors for the wedding were sangria and silver. The cake is a white cake with raspberry filling and almond buttercream. The bead borders are molded fondant and hand painted. The roses are gum paste.
6" vanilla cake and 8" lemon cake, both with vanilla buttercream filling. Cakes are covered and decorated with fondant. I love making under the sea cakes because I get to put in so many little details! Everything is edible!

Toy Story - Icing Smiles Cake
Bottom tier is a 10" fresh strawberry, top tier is a 6", double barrel, vanilla-almond, both filled and frosted with vanilla-almond buttercream. All cake decorations are fondant and the characters are hand modeled from Saracino Modeling Paste. This was the third year I've had the honor of making Cody's birthday cake.
Iron Maiden Eddie Cake
I made this for my cousins groom cake for a surprise. I live in Florida and made this in the condo in California with very limited supplies. What a difference going from tons of humidity to almost zero humidity. It was made of white cake with chocolate buttercream. The neck to the bottom of the lip was rice krispies and the rest was cake. I made the structure with threaded rod and masonite boards, disassembled and reassembled in Ca. It was covered in a combination of modeling chocolate and Satin Ice fondant and airbrushed in TruColor.
