The cake is dark chocolate torted with Raspberry filling. All the frosting is buttercream and the seaweed and coral, etc. is made out of fondant. The shells are all made from chocolate. My grandaughter loves little mermaid and wanted a cake with Ariel on it. So I copied a coloring page and cut a piece of fondant out in that shape then used royal icing to outline the picture and filled in with colorflow and colored piping gel.
