Gingerbread House 2018
George Lord Little House - Kennebunk, Maine Was made by my fiancee and I last year, took about 100 hours to make, was about 60 separate pieces, and had 34 windows. Complete with double mansard roof and architecturally accurate features. Our third shot at an annual gingerbread house, we think it was a great success!
The Real Housewives
It was time to "Whoop it up" with a "Real Housewives" TV series themed cake, for a 40th birthday celebration! Which wouldn't be complete without a little back stabbing (knife), Botox and tequila shots! With the addition of all the logos from each show as well. Super fun cake!
Cute Duckling Children's Cake
Totally in love with this very easy and super simple cake design. Perfect for a baby/children celebration. Do you struggle with fondant bunting? Getting it perfect around the cake can be a little fiddly. Checkout my tutorial...it's so simple when you know how.
Gingerbread Inspired Fondant Christmas Cake
I absolutely loved making this cake from start to finish. The decorations are all made from fondant yet look like gingerbread. The gingerbread house looks great on top, with a string of christmas bunting on the top tier. The train sits perfectly on the middle tier while the bottom tier has a little christmas village of shops...what's not to love? You can see how I made the fondant gingerbread house by checking out my online video tutorial.
… still a unicorn! This time for the birthday of little Rachel, who turned 3 years old! ♥ ️ The cake was mounted on a polystyrene base h 5 to give it even more height, reaching a total of 30 cm
Little Chocolate Cake
6" chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and dark chocolate dipped strawberries for my best friend....just 'cause.
Kitty Cat Cake
A little something for my wife. Vanilla cake with pastry cream filling, buttercream frosting, and fondant decorations.
Thomas The Train
I made this for my sweet little 3 yr old grandson. I wish I had a picture of his face when he saw it and again when I told him it was for him. Vanilla cake covered in vanilla buttercream & MMF with fondant figures. This one took some time.
Beer Mug Cake
Client (Co-worker) wanted a "Beer Can Cake" for her dad. She knew I was a cake decorator, but never seen what kind of cakes I create. I told her I was going to make a Beer Can Cake for her, but it might be a little different than what she was expecting. She said what I as a cake decorator love to hear ... "go ahead, make me whatever kind of cake you'd like." Her and her husband loved it, and were speechless! Her father was overjoyed with his cake! She said the cake does not look real and that it is not like anything she ever imagined when she said she wanted a Beer Can Cake. (There is a man laying "under" the beer with his mouth open drinking it, and a man used a ladder to climb up the mug to "get in" the beer. (I love, love, love to see/hear people's reaction when they see their cakes for the first time. We did it again Grandma! Thank you dear God for guiding my hand.)
