I saw this design in Toba Garrett's "The Well-Decorated Cake". She even has a template in there to use. It can become a little time consuming but it's a relatively easy technique to learn. This book is a must have--Toba explains everythng so well and she is so awesome!! :D
this looks amazing.........I love how the flowers kinda bleed over onto the other tiers......usually patterned cakes like this are all decorated individually and look like their own cake......but I love how these HAVE to be together.just love the overall look.......I sketched out a design for a cake VERY similar to this one......funny that it's in a book...only I planned to paint the flowers in white on blue fondant!
