I am not real creative with wording for my name so cake77 came from the year I graduated, added to the fact that I decorate cake, pretty boring. The avatar was what was available when I put one in but it kind of fit. The energizer bunny just keeps going, and going, and going, and the fact that I have a defribulator, pacemaker, I just keep going, and going, and going. all though my name is Wilma so I have thoughty of using Wilma Flinstone as my avatar, but not sure how to do it.

Wow, you are the Energizer Bunny! Good for you, you are an inspiration! Not much help on avatars are anything else technical computery, haha, that is a term! Perhaps Lisa will help you? I think MOuse is handy at these things too!

Hi - this is a wonderful thread - like a few other people have said, I now feel like I know everyone better!

When my DH and I got married, I had 2 boys, ages 2 &3 - and DH had a son 4 and a daughter 8.
My husband's kids wanted to call me "Mommy" because that's what my kids called me. But their mom didn't like that so they started saying I was their "Mommy Marilyn". My stepdaughter will be 26 next month and still calls me Mommy Marilyn!

Cute story Squirrellycakes icon_smile.gif I feed my squirrels all the time here and I have one that I rescued ... I had 2 cats that had him surrounded and I heard this horrible cry .. I ran outside to see what the noise was and it was him .. he was terrified because there was a cat on each side of him and they were batting him back and forth .. I didn't even think, I ran out to rescue him ... I took my gown (below the knee length t-shirt gown) and I grabbed the hem and grabbed the squirrel in it ... my husband tells people all the time it was the "Mississippi Squirrel Revival" cause the squirrel tried to run up and I was running in the house to get him out! LOL ... anyway, there's something wrong with Chuckie .. he's not a normal squirrel.. I have him in a pen on my back porch ... the door to his pen is open at all times .. he can get out .. but he was so traumatized by the cats that had him, he won't leave the pen at all .. he has a water bottle and he gets pecans, peanuts, sunflower seeds, corn, almonds and cashews .. he's a fat boy icon_biggrin.gif

Okay, so this is what happens when I'm out camping for the weekend! I'll have to go back and catch up on everyone's story later when the kids are nappin'.

My name actually came from my BIL who created our family's website and he was giving me my login name. He thought it would be cute! So it's stuck with me for about two years now. And my avatar, I had great help from someone here on CC!!!! She found it for me.

I did not get Cheryl's nickname until someone pointed itout. icon_cry.gif

My nickname is probably THE most unusual on this forum. I'm the kind of guy that gets a name and sticks with it for ease of remembering. Dragonwarlord1969 is the evolved name of our art business, Dragon Spirit Studios. It was started in 2000, the year of the dragon in the Chinese zodiac. The "spirit" just seemed to flow with the dragon. So we started Dragon Spirit Comics. Later when I forgot to pay to renew my domain and server (they wanted over $300 to reactivate it) we switched to Dragon Spirit Studios. (which is starting to become semi-popular at Japanese Animation (Anime) cons)

One day I was starting up a new ebay account and was tossing around different ideas for a screen name. I was trying names dragon names and came up with Dragonwarlord. Well that name was already taken but Dragonwarlord1969 (the year of my birth) was free!! thumbs_up.gif After a while, I started using that name for my generic screen name.

One day I stumbled upon Cake Central icon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gif and automatically threw in Dragonwarlord1969 as my screen name to look around the site. (Most sites I sign up for I quickly loose interest and move on, not this one)

*whew* I'm building to my avatar, trust me! icon_smile.gif I started noticing other names and quickly came to the conclusion that Dragonwarlord1969 stuck out like a sore thumb and people may not take me seriously or think I was some weirdo (for those that know me, they will 100% agree icon_rolleyes.gificon_razz.gif ) So, my first avatar was a pic of my daughter, Sarah. I was gonna see about changing my nickname but I talked to a few people on the forum and they liked the name. One day, Flavurfund sent me my current avatar, which fit a lot better then the pic of Sarah did. icon_cry.gif I was torn and after a few posts, the dragon replaced the pic of Sarah.

I, was named after my Grandfathers, both of whom had Joseph in their name and received my father's middle name, Robert. My last name is a very unusual Polish last name, it's Onyskow. There's 2 ways to pronounce it, the polish way and the American way. If anybody wants to take a stab at pronouncing it, shoot me a PM.

Oh, hey Tina, I heard a southern comedian once say, "If you were named after a good dog, you might be a redneck!" icon_lol.gificon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gif Sorry, I just had to throw it in. icon_evil.gificon_smile.gif

icon_eek.gif I get busy for a few days, and look what happens! I've been trying to read all the posts for 2 days! I'm so glad you all liked it! Looks like Lisa, mOuse and flavurdfun (spelling?) might be busy finding the avatars for the missing few.

Also, it took me a few minutes, but I got the Ntertayneme the first day, but it was mainly due to the Betty Boop popping out of the cake at the time, so I really wasn't even sure of what to think about what she meant by that.... icon_confused.gificon_lol.gif

I love the fact that SquirrellyCakes feeds the needy animals around her home. I love animals and was raised to help those critters in need, so I'm fighting back tears when you tell me about the poor cat that was so mistreated. I myself have had to try to take care of baby animals and have had the heartache of some of them dying in my hands while trying to help them. Not something you ever really forget. Great job lady! i chose aunt-judy because that's who i am...aunt to patric (12), madeline (9), lily (2) and darwin (3 months). i take my aunting very seriously, and hope to live up to the fine aunting standards set by my great aunt Elaine Lupchansky of Brooklyn, NY, who passed away in 2002...to honour her i took her last name (she never married), so i am Judy Lupchansky.

i stumbled upon cakecentral a couple of months ago while looking for general cake batter suggestions for 3-D mold cakes for my boss who had just bought a castle cake mold from williams-sonoma and was wondering about alternatives to the buttery pound cake recipe that came with the mold.

my avatar is a picture i nicked from the web from a cartoon series called "home movies" -- which is wicked funny and smart. the picture features Brendan, who sits on the bench with his soccer coach, Coach McGuirk, who is a font of bad knowledge and advice. it makes me laugh.

I use it as my screenname because I couldnt think of anything else. hehe

I plan on having a deli/bakery of my own and will call it something to that effect. I just want people to say, "Hey, let's go to Kitti's for lunch!"

The avatar I chose is just cool. I love the heart, love the sand, love the simplicity of it. On our honeymoon my husband and I took a lot of photos of our own footprints in the sand and of our feet. I also took photos of hearts drawn in the sand with our names in them. It was fun and the photos turned out so cool. If I had thought to do the photo in this avatar I would have done that one too. My pic was just a poster that I really like. One of my husband's friends called me a French woman one day when we were dating years ago in college, when I whipped out some of my French (took many classes, even in college) and everyone seems to think I look french...so it's been a running joke now for the last 5 years.
