Alright ladies, Im back. And yes I did catch your weak moments. Now Im not so scared of you. hehehe.

Sorry, I had to say goodbye to my fiancee, he's leaving me for the weekend to go hunting. Poor bambie.

So you guys want the recipe. I have to admit, I did tease, then forgot to post the recipe idea. But I'm loving how bad you guys want to hear it. I feel so special right now.

Oh, the post of the Pinkie and the Brain skit had me cracking up. I love that show, shame its not on anymore.

Just to clarify, my pic of Brain is not a cake. Its my Halloween costume from last year. I carved the head out of a huge block of styrofoam, so that it fit right over my head. If you notice, you can see my shoulders in the pic and holes in the corner of the eyes so I could see.

I was hoping that wasn't cake, considering the shoulders! Hehehe. I loved that show. And the orginal Ren & Stimpy. Not the re-release they came up with a few years back that was all G rated and stupid. The original very twisted one. thumbs_up.gif

And yah, we're like that exhibit at the zoo where people look in and go "Aw, they're so funny!" Then the zookeeper asks if they wanna go in there and pet them and the people are like, "Uh, no, I'm good thanks!" and quickly walk away! Hehehehe. Just teasing of course.

Ok, so my idea for the dessert to go with the pumpkin dip.

I make this appetizer/dessert which my family calls Monkey Balls (aka Monkey Bread, Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread) Why we call it Monkey Balls, I dont have a clue. My fiancee started calling it that. Its like a bread baked in a bundt pan that is made of small pieces of sugar/cinnamon covered dough that you pull apart and eat. I usually serve it with a side of Cream cheese dip, but figured the pumpkin dip would be really good with it also. Since we are visual eaters, I found a pic of it on McCormick for you to look at.
http://www.mccormick.com/Recipes/Breads-Muffins/Cinnamon-Pull-Apart-Bread.aspx

My recipe is alittle bit different:
Monkey Balls
4 packs of buttermilk biscuits
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cinnamon
2 sticks butter

Cut each biscuit into quarters.
Mix sugar and cinn. Toss biscuit quarters into the cinn. mixture to coat.
Pour melted butter onto biscuits and toss to coat each one.
Put mixture into bundt pan and bake at 400 for 25-30 min.

Serve with a side of Pumpkin dip or cream cheese dip
4 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1-2 Tbsp milk.

I like to mix the sugared biscuits into the butter first to make sure each one is coated with butter, instead of just pouring on top. Then only the sides get coated.

Just put on a plate in the middle of the table and let people pick at your balls.

O...M...G...! I just figured it out. We're the only losers with no social life!! I forgot it's friday night... all the cool kids are out having fun and the social tards are sitting here staring at the computer. Waaahhhhh... I'm a geek! I used to have a life! Now I just have kids! Hehehe... oh well, I like them better. Although the hangover is worse. icon_razz.gif

I have to go shopping first, then we can cause some trouble.

Im going to buy a clay extruder today at Michaels for my fondant. Then Im going to Joannes to buy an organizer bag to put all my small cake tools in. I'm tired of them being in one big box, and always having to dig.
