Ladies,
I made dark chocolate raspberry cake with chocolate truffle filling and raspberry filling. Don't know how it is, but here is the picture of it. Take a look if interested.

Valli - it looks great! I really like the way you did the ball of yarn. Is it all BC?

Jana,
Yes. I made them out of cake ball (scraps) and covered with same color fondant just so that they don't lose their shape. Then piped the thread. THanks.

I've been making the hamburger cupcakes since I turned on my laptop & saw Michael Jackson died, I was/am soooo upset & started baking, so my mom gets to take 50 hamburger cupcakes to work with her tommorrow, my daughter told her to tell her employees not to get them confused with the burger shots. It's taking forever. I keep coming to the computer to make sure the world is not being punked. icon_sad.gif

Farrah Fawcett died today, too. AND some young girl in Phoenix was shot by her boyfriend. My mother called to tell me that she had three patients today go to the hospital (she does home healthcare). Today has not been a good day. Not at all.

Yesterday was a very bad day icon_sad.gif I honestly didnt know much about Farrah, I dont think Ive seen any movies she's been in, just read about her online, she seemed like a wonderful person, but I think everyone knew she her death was going to be coming, Michaels is a shock, he just had that physical & seemed to be ok, I was looking forward to his concerts hoping one would come out on a dvd.

My mother in law got put into the hospital late last night also, well thats when I got the text, even though she only lives a mile away, she hasnt spoken to me or hubby since Christmas really, so I have no idea whats going on with her either, so glad I moved back here for this, I shoulda stayed in Florida.

Any news on the girl in Pheonix Jana?

Hi Pamama, I'm so sorry to hear that, losing someone at any age is tough, but to lose your child is horrible. Hugs & prayers to you & your friend.

I didn't end up making any. I had decided on peach cupcakes, but just wasn't in the mood. (I know, temporary insanity).

Chass, I was thinking strawberry cupcakes for the 4th

No, she didn't go home. She goes back and forth between my house and my brother-in-law's house. But even when she's there, she's causeing drama here. It's finally starting to get to my husband.

Ladies,
I had made cupcakes for fourth of july and they went to my work and my husband's work. This year everyone at his work have been asking for cake and so he wanted me to make a cake. Here is the link to it if anyone wants to take a look. Caramel cake with chocolate truffle filling and buttercream frosting. I feel I am making too many cakes for free, but can't get paid anyway.

I like the square cake, Valli. Your red is nice and bright and you're writing on the side looks very straight - mine deffinantly would have slanted, lol. Great job, bet it tasted good, too!
