So, I was asked to make a naughty cake for a 21st birthday in a few weeks. I've never made one before - male anatomy - and I'm not exactly in a hurry to try. Just kindly say no? Or do I deal with it and make a really good really bad cake?
If you feel comfortable with it Jana, then go for it!

pita s-i-l strikes again...11pm last night, I get a message going "um, did you buy everything for my cake already?", I replied with "why"? I cant find matching shower decorations, I may have to change designs......I was getting up at 8 to start this cake, so I can be done basically tonight so I can enjoy my 4th of July & deliver the cake to her on Sunday......ARGH!

I still gotta try those whoppie pies...maybe I'll do those next week for hubbys work...but gotta find recipes for them first!

I keep wanting to try the whoopies also. but haven't really been baking much. I needed to get into my summer clothes... and have no willpower 
Hubby also wants to lose a few lbs.

zoom - I'm in the same, cakeless boat. I just joined a gym and they have excellent personal training complimentary with your membership. Well, they don't compliment so much. lol. Supposedly in 7 weeks I'll see a "whole new me." Whatever, I just want to be able to wear shorts. lol.
Just got back from California. I had an excellent trip, saw lots of family and friends. I'm craving a brownie right now, and I'm trying to make due with jello.

I wish I could bake some cuppies for the 4th. I'm working on a wedding and grooms cake for my daughter for next Sat. Making the decorations and going to freeze some of the cakes so I don't get stressed. My little 1 year old Grandson is coming up too to stay (and parents) so I want to make time for him.
I just got done with a Harley topper for the groom's cake. I made a bride and groom out of clay and baked it and sat them on a 2000 classic Harley replica. I'll post pics when I'm done with the whole thing.
Has anyone every colored ganache? I'm thinking of coloring it black and have flames come up around the cake.
For the wedding cake I'm making white chocolate w/raspberry filling, tropical with a pineapple/coconut curd, and a mango coconut w/mango bettercreme filling in 3 tiers. Going to try my luck at gumpaste hibiscus flowers.

Grapefruit cupcakes? I'm suddenly surrounded by grapefruits, which I don't like much. Any ideas on how to use them? I tried making grapefruit-ade but by the time it was sweet enough for me to stand it was basically sugarwater. lol.
