I can't believe the weekend is almost over. I'm not ready for Mardi Gras! Anybody got any fun stuff planned?
Clicks for Saturday and Sunday!
No, nothing fun planned here for Mardi Gras. My 20yr old daughter went down to New Orleans with her roommate. Just what she needed to do! Any way.... I was in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago. So I have had my muffaletta, beignets, king cake, hurricane, catfish po boy. I will stop listing there.
Never enough time to do and see and eat all I want in New Orleans. lol
I'm with Janice, I may actually watch the Award's tonight.
Have a good day ladies.

Oh, how I love New Orleans!!! There's just so much to do and see there. And the food, oh all the wonderful food!!!
So far the sun is shining here this morning. I don't have any plans for Mardi Gras either.
Ohara---I have a 20 year old daughter too. I would worry myself to craziness if she was at Mardi Gras
As she would about me too if I was there.
Clicks done this Sunday morning.
Well I guess this is what I get for not worrying! We have 3" of snow this morning!!
As for me I don't much care for Mardi Gras- My daughter was born and died there in Tulane memorial hospital!

Another cold morning in KY! Supposed to warm up later in the week. Can't wait for 50 degree weather! Hope everyone is doing well and keeping warm.
Going to lexington with the DH this week to but my DD a birthday present! Her bday isn't till april but I have the money now so may as well get it now!
Ohara I hope your DD has a good time in New Orleans! I'm with Kly though I would be worried to death! My 19 year old DD just moved to GA and I worry about her daily!!! If she said mom I'm goin to Mardi Gras I would have a mild stroke!!! lol!
If she would have said were thinking about going then I would have flipped out.....but she didn't. She called me from New Orleans early Saturday morning to let me know they went down there. She has been my difficult child since she was 3....nothing new. I am waiting to hear from her this morning to see if she got home safe. I talked to her late yesterday while they were on the road. Oh yes, they are driving straight through as they have work and school this morning. They left at 6pm and it is a 14 hour drive.
DH and I are having lunch with her this afternoon. That will be another training session of me (trying to) keeping my mouth shut until we drop her back off at her apartment. Then my husband gets to hear all the things I didn't say to her. Sorry....I'm venting. As you might have guessed...it's a strained relationship. Never a dull moment ![]()

I've always wanted to attend Mardi Gras in NO. I'm too old now. Not old, mind you. I'm just past the point where I'd consider "earning" the beads. Which makes me feel old!
I only watched part of the Oscars. The clothes were really disappointing. It seems like most people were phoning it in. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was wearing a ski cap for gosh sakes. I'll wait to see the "fashion police" type shows this week to find out if I missed anything.
Monday clicks.
Would you believe it is going to be in the 70's here today? Maybe even 80 by Thursday? Thats what the weatherman says, and he was all excited about it. I guess it is good, but we are bound to have more cold soon, it is the up and down, back and forth temps that get to me and make my old joints hurt!
Well, I did watch the Awards, for lack of anything better to watch or do...and about the only thing I really liked was Hugh Jackman!
I sympathize with you about your daughters, they sure can give you lots of cause for worry.
Tuesday clicks are done.
