Summernoelle= My name is Summer, and I was born Christmas morning. I have no idea why my parents would name me that. In highschool, it was a kind of nickname-summernoelle together.
mic is for my 1st jack russell "Mickey"
max is for my husbands shepard cross dog "Max"
2003 the year we moved to the country to give the dogs (and little one) space
Years ago when I first started decorating, I did alot of cakes for friends and coworkers. My first name is Tracy and everyone, friends, family, and coworkers, began to call my cakes Tracycakes and it stuck.
I looovvvee chocolate & I often go by the nickname Blondie on account of my blonde hair of course ![]()
Jay-de
Pronnounced just how it is spelled. It was my softball nickname in highschool. I have really vibrant olive green and yellow eyes, so I was given the nickname Jayde on my softball practice tee-shirt.
It kinda stuck, so people call me Jayde all the time, my email is even Jayde_eyez...
Thank you CCer's for putting a smile on my face once again. Well, I was introduced to this site by my grandmother (aka: Superstar) so I just followed her footsteps with Superstar2. Not to sure on how my grandmother got "Superstar" but I think it has something to do with her intitals JC. I hope she logs on today and maybe can fill us in on how she got to be Superstar.
My last name is Fox and I'm a Momma to 3 boys, the first of which was born on May 21st....
Hi all -- my name is not very original either. I also lurked and snooped around CC for a few weeks before I joined.
My name is Susan and everyone calls me that -- but there are a few special people in my life that have always called me Suzy or Suze -- so Suzycakes was born.
I met my DH in high school - come find out we only live a 1/4 mile from each other -- small town - how did I miss him?? But we didn't date until he went to college . . . by that time I figured I had lost my chance to ever 'catch' him . . . knowing how cute those college girls were going to be. He finally asked me out and it's been love ever since.
I've been married for 27 years, we have an almost 23 yo DD who is an RN almost an RN BSN; and a 20 yo DS who is a junior at College majoring in Ag.
So I am 46 and it is only a number -- you are only as old as you will let yourself feel!!
Thanks for reviving this thread - it has been fun reading through this and going "Oohh that's what that means"!!
Suze
Well when I first started dating my husband we would always say that we were two peas in a pod since we're so much alike, so he started calling me his Sweet Pea....
So Sweet Pea is my nickname from him and 0613 comes from our wedding date which is 06/13/08 ![]()
Mine has always been an embarrassment to me, but followed me my whole life thanks to younger relatives who couldn't pronounce my name - KAREN. And that's how Kaka came about. Nice huh?
That is so funny! My name is Karen and was nicknamed "Kaka" as well! My mom also called me Kari so that ended up being my youngest daughter's name.
KaseyNH~That is from my first name and my last name, Chagnon. Initials being KC...nicknamed Kasey as an adult and live in NH!
This is fun!! Feels like I know everyone better now!
Deanna
I'm a huge Tori Amos fan, so I combined partial titles for two of her songs: Toodles Mr. Jim and Hey, Jupiter. Plus, I just love the word toodles. I've used it for years now.
I should be working, but instead I'm reading all these posts! So I'll mention mine and then get to work before my boss shows up! "Gemini" is for my twin boys and the R and J are their first initials (Ross and Jake). Wanting to make them cool cakes for their birthdays got me interested in cake decorating, so it seemed fitting to pick a name that relates to them!
Back in the 70's, when my group of friends and I were running the roads, there was 2 Pam's. My maiden name is McAlpine, so I became Mac to most of the people in our group. My best friend and all of her family still call me Mac. When her uncle married my husband and I (17 years ago), I told DH if Uncle Kenneth asked "Do you take Mac?", just to say "I do because that's me."
Getting ready to turn 47 this month--WooHoo! If I knew then(in my 20's), what I know now...oh well, let's just say "you get smarter with...experience." Oh, and yes, I do play the age card now. Hit 40, went to the eye doctor...he says "You're at that age...". Went to the periodonist this year, he says "You're at that age...". Now, when asked about something that irritates me, I say "Ya know, I'm at that age where I don't have to put up with cr*p like that!" Heck, I may even have that engraved on my tombstone "She was "At that Age".
DH is 46, we've been married 17 years, no kids but 3 schnauzers (2 miniature and 1 giant).
This is a fun thread! ![]()
Mine is a nickname my cousin started calling me when we went to high school together and it just stuck with me through the years. No it's not after Tootie from Facts of Life! LOL! (Although I did watch that show as a kid.) The 0809 is my b-day (Aug. 9).
Thanks for the early b-day wishes!
\\
Mac, happy early b-day to you too!
This is so fun!!

Mine is my first and last name. ![]()
