I went to Red Lobster on saturday and I don't feel guilty at all. It was too enjoyable. Otherwise I've been doing well diet wise (except maybe the watermelon martini I've been having at night).

mocakes, I too suggest going to the dr. maybe he/she can help fix things. Although I'm a pro at self diagnosis I never go to the dr. should probably take my own advice. =D

Okay all I have to say is "Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Brownies" Of course the recipe makes a 9/13 pan so we have tons of them, even after I sent some to my sister's. Luckily I bought the economy bottle of Listerine, I'm gonna need it to bolster some self control!

Thanks, guys...There is nothing more frustrating than going to a doctor and being made to feel like you are making the whole thing up.

We moved this past summer about 2 hours away from our hometown and I am anxious to find a new doctor with a fresh perspective. I am definitely not up to my usual self from last year. We'll see.....

Have I said this lately?....I love this site! thumbs_up.gif

Casey, a watermelon martini probably isn't that bad for you. Vodka is the best liquor for a diet.

Amber, step away from the brownies!!

Oh, and I am trying to be good, but I decided to make my molassas cookies for our new neighbors. I work with the wife, but they just moved close by. I LOVE my molassas cokies....

Oh, and I got 3 cake orders this weekend!!! Yay me! I have a sheet cake for Saturday and then a Crown Royal bottle and possibly a turkey cake for the weekend of March 17th.

O.K how is vodka the best liqour for a diet? I love lime diet coke with vodka but thought all liqour turned to sugar in your system and that means calories!!!! Can I really have that diet and vodka? icon_eek.gificon_confused.gificon_biggrin.gif

Okay I ate one, a little one icon_redface.gif But then I cut the remainders out of the pan, stacked and wrapped them in foil and put them in the crisper next to the fruit. Sad I have to out smart myself but now I have to look at the apples, oranges and grapes before I can get to them. And with the shape my fruit usually ends up in, maybe I'll forget they're down there all together. icon_lol.gif

BTW does that mean I can have an Appletini? I LOVE those thumbs_up.gif

mocakes if they don't fix you the first time go back. I learned this from jsut a lingering cough, turns out I have an inflamation of my lungs and the brochitis never really left. OR find a doctor who'll listen. If you "think" you're sick chances are you are.

Oh yah! I was going to hold off on the martini's but....second guessing my decision. We should all get on at the same time and have a drink together even though I'm probably 3 hrs behind most of you and it'd probably be way early for me at least I won't be drinking alone. party.gifparty.gifparty.gifdunce.gifdunce.gifdunce.gif

Y'all are so goofy!!! I have an itch to go out. Just go out, maybe with some girlfriends. I am still needing a break. I don't feel like my head is going to pop off, but I still need a break! Work doesn't count!

Ok, so I think we should have drinks together once a week. Maybe Thursdays? To congratulate the good weigh ins, to sympathize with the bad weigh ins, to celebrate the end of another week and the beginning of the new week.

Actually Casey, we're in the same time zone. I know Katie is and so is cakemommy (sorry forgot your first name) as well. The dunce guy does look more like a happy drunk - all rosey cheecked, bug eyed and slurring - like my lovely DH during the Stanley Cup Finals. LOL icon_razz.gif

I just found a picture of me and my little sis, I must have been 16/17 I was so thin - I curse myself for not knowing better back then. Any way I'm holding a teddy bear cake that I had decorated, poorly, there are plastic googly eyes on it (no supplies back then not even measuring utensils). But I never realized exactly how long I had really wanted to learn. Ahhh to be young again. icon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gif (See I think the eye roller looks more like a lost in thought smiley too). thumbs_up.gif

We were posting at the same time. I'm not sure if this is a good idea. I have some girlfriends who live in Maryland, I'm notorious for babbling when I've had a little too much to drink (which is about every 4 months if that) Well my DH promptly goes to bed to avoid me so I send drunken emails icon_lol.gifdunce.gifshhh.gif Apparently it's their favorite way to kick of a Monday Morning.

I have learned the hard way that it's not a good idea to mix vicodin and vodka, LOL, they get in my head and start FIGHTING, so I'll have to take a pass on the 'girl's night', too. But I'm frequently high on painkillers, if that counts, LOL!!

Congrats on the pound lost, Tuesday!!

AS far as the drinking goes...anything is better than beer for a diet. The south beach diet says you can have wine, especially red. I like white though! I am not much of a drinker. I think college cured me of that! but I like a little drinky poo now and then, especially with my girlfriends!

Okay so who feels like traveling to michigan today? I need someone to personally come to my house and slap me. Slap some sense into me that is! I have been sooooo sooooo sooooo bad!! I dont know why?!?!? I have been doing really well on the exercise, but I have let the diet fall to the wayside. I have just cheating all over the place. I feel like such a looser! icon_redface.gif We are going to Florida the first week of April and I was really hoping to be at least 140. I think I am up about 2 pounds from Thursday due to my indescretions so now I have like 7 pounds to go in 4-5 weeks? I guess it is POSSIBLE but at my rate not probable.

No smacking!!!! But I feel ya on the cheating part...over the weekend I had 2 pieces of my cake from class and about 12 cakeballs!!! Then we had pizza on saturday. Then sunday I made caramel-chocolate chip cheesecake for MIL's birthday which I had a LARGE slice of. icon_redface.gif So back to my 2 miles a day instaed of 1 for sure this week!

Here's a VIRTUAL SMACK, Merissa! Not for cheating on your diet, that happens to the best of us, but for calling yourself a loser!! You have been doing a fantastic job and if you fall off the wagon every now and then, that just proves that you're human.
I'm calling you out!! You must now list three of your good qualities! We know what a great person you are, now let's make sure YOU know!! icon_biggrin.gif

You're doing a fantastic job on your diet. Look at it this way, maybe a couple of days of not doing so great will shock your body into some serious weight loss when you get back to it.

You have to have some goodies every now and then to balance yourself so you don't end up gorging later on! Plus even super models eat goodies too. Now we don't strive to be "model" thin but if they can eat, well we sure as heck can! thumbs_up.gif Besides we don't hafta walk down a catwalk in our underwear any time soon! I have been watching the Tyra Banks show and she really puts their job in perspective for me and it's deff not one I'd ever want. Give me my sahm stuff and my DH's secratary duties for his business and I'm good to go. To heck with people judging my body and telling me I'm too fat, too thin, too short, too tall, too something or other all the time. I'd end up telling them to smooch my lilly white hiney in about the first 5 minutes for sure! icon_confused.gificon_lol.gif
