Ok..maybe it's me..but I only see the ornaments...which by the way looks sooo cool! icon_biggrin.gif I bought the mold on sugarcrafts website. I'm thinking of doing some for Christmas. What's with the cupcakes and the ornaments? Do you put them on the cupcakes? icon_redface.gif I'm going to go look on the Wilton website since some of you mentioned it.

The cupcakes on Wilton are absolutely gorgeous.

Moydear77, your ornament was outstanding too! Looking forward to the tutorial. Also, where did you purchase your mold?

I wanted to ask the same thing. Please share where you bought your mold or ideas on where we might find them.

If you just want to play around with making one I used my mini ball pan last night to make one . I think I made it a little thick though but it looked O.K. icon_biggrin.gif .I just couldn't put that much candy in it like the one on the sugarcraft site.

I did mine on Thursday, they are in my pictures. All I did was make a regular cupcake with a flat top and used the mini ball pan for the tops. I put buttercream between the cake and on top, then fondant. I decorated them with royal icing and luster dust. They were really easy and I could not imagine charging a $100 each for them. Not too sure about that.

Those came out great! Thanks for showing us how nice they came out and showing us how easy they are to do. I want to try them.

My only question is how did you do the tops of the ornaments? Just freehand make them?

OMG now my secret is out! Well its not really my secret to keep. (Its more like, "Dang it somebody else found out. Now I have to do something new"). I have been making these for quite some time now. No one had heard of these things before, so I was like "Hey I'll be the only one around here who makes these, Hahaaaaa". As long as someone doesnt show up to my Christmas or New Years party with them im fine.

What a great presentation...

what would also be pretty is to display one of those chocolate ones on the Sugarcraft website on one of those Christmas ornament display stands..

I can just see one at every place setting at a Winter wedding or any Holiday dinner..

Niiiiiiiiiice! thumbs_up.gif
