Ok I made the burritos for DH... But he ate the leftover hotdogs GGGGAAAHHHH So tonight DD and DS at the burritos and DH ate 1 of them and the Schwans girl got here so I made him popcorn shrimp and cheesy tators (tots)
So not sure what I am going to make him tonight. I also got eggrolls so I am thinking along that line.
Everybodies food sounds so Yummy I am hungry right now LOL I need to get the dishes done and cook DH his supper/Breakfast and these foods are making me HUNGRY LOL
last night I ended up skipping the tacos and I just made some fried egg sandwhiches for me. i have been really hungry for them and last night seemed to be a good night.
Taco soup, rice ----and chocolate chip cookies for dessert
made tacos for dinner tonight... and I am getting hungry for cookies, so I may go make a batch of something... as long as I have enough eggs

Yeah, thanks, been kinda busy lately, sorry I haven't been around lately.
Tonight was Garlic & onion marinated pork tenderloin, millet with pork au jus, summer squash, and cole slaw.
Marinated strip steak, fresh green beans cooked in sesame oil (yum), and rice.
My goodness, we must all be busy this weekend! no one has eaten since thursday?!? LOL
Well last night we went to the comdy club again (great comics too) and I had a pineapple daquiri which was one of the best daquiri's I have had. Also a cheeseburger.
Tonight made spagetti.
I can't believe vacation starts on Monday! It is almost midnight on Saturday night and I still have nothing packed! I have to have it all packed before I leave for work on Monday though b/c my BF will be loading up the car and picking me up after I am done with class... oh my what a hectic day to look forward too... Oh and since class starts monday i still have some summer homework to finish tomorrow between packing and softball tournaments... guess I should have done more today than I did

Ya you could say my family starved the last 2 days LOL I was making cake
Friday night was my chicken over biscuits..DD was beging me for it and hey it was easy. And Ohara I don't know if I get bonus points for DH Supper/Breakfast cause I just made him some sandwiches. I was to busy decorating cake to cook for him. And he didn't eat them when he got off he ate them when he got up this evening before work. And DD had leftover chicken biscuits.. LOL
So I am not sure what I will make DH tonight. Probably Hamburger with sauted mushrooms and amybe a baked potato.
DD starts dance classes this Thurs. So they will be my crazy days. I am not sure when we start Girl Scouts and she may do Gymnastics on Mondays.
So the fun Begins AGAIN LOL
liely Have a safe and fun trip. And I so love going to see comedians. I want to get tickets fro Rodney Carrington but not sure if I can afford them yet. It is in Nov. We would love to see him and we never get to go out.

Friday we had friends over for pizza, I made a salad and homemade ice cream sandwiches. Saturday DD had soccer in the morning, then we ran some errands, went to lunch and I came home to make a anniversary cake (it is supposed to look like their wedding cake). I had one 12" round baked before soccer. So I did the rest after we got home. I finished at 11::30 pm. I will go set it up today after lunch. So needless to say I didn't cook last night. DD had eggs and toast, DH ate leftover pizza and I had a bowl of cereal. We will eat at the anniversary party tonight so no cooking for me.

Today is Sunday and DH & I have decided to try a new dish - Pork Medallions with a Cherry & Port Wine Sauce. I'll post later on how it turned out

Costa Rica rocked! I ate WAYYYYYY too much to even try to mention! The fruit there is fabulous! Picked fresh and then on your plate--loved it. Could have lived without all of the bug bites but definetly worth it to go. We went on a zipline tour in the jungle trees. 13 lines on top of a mountain that you hook on too and zip down. We had harnests and helmets. We were on top of a mountain and the view in the jungle was awesome. Monkeys and Mccaws were all around us. The drop was about 150 feet above. Lines were anywhere from 100 feet to 1,115 feet. It was so much fun. I had no problem doing it at all and if I stopped short just swung my body grabbed onto the line and crawled backwards to the deck. The local guides just kept calling me Monkey Girl wierd, but I guess it was a compliment I'm not sure
Went kiyaking (sp?) and saw a whale jumping out of the water --that's when we decided after watching it jump a few times that maybe we should head back and were too far out 
Went on a horse back ride that took us to the top of the mountain--wow! what a view, the poor horses were so tired though...I felt bad that they had to drag our butts up there just to turn around and go back down. It's been 3 days and my butt is still sore and bruised. Went on a horrid trail--with horsed that galloped a good part of it
Went out to town a few times and bought some stuff. Interesting looking at all the places with large gates and razor wire--but we didn't have an issue with anything there. Really liked looking in the shops they had, glad to be back though--I really missed my little ones!
If I ever get a chance I'll post pics of Costa Rica. I start school this Thursday so I'm trying to get everything done around here.
i made chicken cordon bleu. I got the recipie from allrecipies.com. It was sooo great and it is really good with green beans. I hope you all enjoy

We ate at our friends anniversary party. I had some shredded chicken. I didn't eat much as I am trying to lose weight.( the story of my life) I bought an amazing dress last week, and got a great deal. The dress was originally $188.00 and I paid $35. I want to wear it in Nov. when DH and I go on our cruise, oh yeah, I'd like it to look good too.

This afternoon my BF had his softball tournament and they played until they lost... so 4 games today! then went out to Applebee's and had a steak/smashed potatoes, broccoli and an oreo shake. I was so hungry I hand't eaten anything all day (and the games got over about 4:00)
I finally got pictures uploaded today of some of the cakes I have talked about in the last month (my book cake was my pride and joy, and the pillow I had way to many problems with)
Well I have procrastinated enough and I better get to packing and finishing the laundry.

Ok I am getting things done for the busy week. I made homemade Bannana muffins for DD to take to school for snack and lunch for the week. And she begged me to buy cinnamon rolls to make over the weekend and didn't get them done because of cakes. So I poppde the cans open and baked them so they could have them for breakfast or snack after school. I also cooked off hamburger and onion to freeze for the quick meals (sloppy joes, tacos, spaghetti, ect...)
But for supper was frozen fish and fries. And Dh will probably get sandwiches for when he gets home.
jmcakes allrecipes.com is my other fav site. I got my AWESOME FRENCH DIP RECIPE FROM THERE YUMMY I will have to look up the recipe and make it now.. Sounds Yummy

Tonight I grilled steaks, potatoes, onions, and had green beans. DH had leftover cake for dessert.
Busy this week with a wedding. I am doing it all. Planing , decorating, purchasing, catering, and baking. I will be glad when it's over. Actually I will enjoy it when it's time for the wedding. It's a outside wedding. We are praying for great weather. So far the forecast is good. Hope everyone is having a good day.

mommykicksbutt We have those days around here also. I sometimes put left over meat in a freezer bag for later only forget to date it and mark what it was on the bag. So it makes for a SURPRISE sometimes LOL If I am totlly unsure when we had them they go to the dog LOL
Have a goodnight DS and I are going to watch the eclipse tonight... I am going to stay up and wake him up for it... He is 16 And he took a nap this afternoon DD wants me to wake her but I am not sure if I will she is only 8... So I will play it by ear and she if she gets to sleep early enough or not... Tonight I made taco salads, they were so good. Another day that I did really well with my eating. However I am sitting here hungry. Either I will go to bed or maybe I will eat some grapes.
Did a bunch of errands for the wedding today. Tomorrow, most of the day will be committed to fondant roses. I am wanting to use pearl dust, just not sure if I will have time, or if I know what I am doing. I did try a sample piece, I think I used too much liquid?!

oh yeah, left overs (or olders) are like a smorgasbord at our house. Something the kids and heat up in the microwave so I don't have to do anything! I love those nights.

Well DD wanted leftover taco salad again tonight. She is going to turn into one..LOL She had it for lunch today, and supper and she is taking it again tomorrow for lunch. She won't eat taco salad that the school makes (because it isn't mine) It is probably the dressing that I use fat free Dorthy Lynch... DS had to work tonight so he isn't hungry right now. And DH didn't want anything before work tonight. He thinks the guy he works with is going to bring him his homemade tamales he ordered. And tomorrow I should get the burritos DH ordered for me and the kids... They are oh so YUMMY.. I told DH to ask him if he would trade cake for tamales and burittos but I doubt he asks him. He said well if his wife can cook that good she can surely make a good cake.. LOL I said maybe, maybe not. I can't make authentic tamales or burritos But I make kick butt cake LOL
I am going to saute some mushrooms to top some ramen noddles for DH when he gets home. Just in case he is still hungry..
Ohara ya we got to see the eclipse it was pretty cool. It was a perfect night for it here. The sky was so clear. DS was the one that wanted me to get him up and he was the grumpiest. DD saw it for the first time last night and totally loved it. She told her class all about it.. We took pictures but I doubt many of them turn out. Our camera is a pretty good one but when you magnify it that far it is really blurry. The teacher told DD she could bring pictures next week to share. DS has seen one before with DH. He still thought it was cool but he was so crabby I almost regreted waking him up.
mommykicksbutt I was thinking of having sloppy joes tonight and didn't so we will probably have them tomorrow..
last night was breaded chicken, green beans and smashed taters seasoned with parmesan, garlic and parsley.
Tonight is cereal, bagels and yogurt. It's 90 out and way to hot and humid to even attempt to cook!
Hey guys sounds like all is well...I am so busy trying to finish this banjo cake for Friday....well trying to do all the little things that go on it anyways...cake wont be out of the freezer till morning (made yesterday). SOOOOO needless to say we had spaghetti last night (DH's least fav., but hey it was fast and when WE have to work dinner has to be fast)....Tonight will be another busy night but I was smart this time and put on a huge roast with marsala pearl onions, carrots and potatos and some corn from the garden 
, dh will be so pleased (who cares LOL) ... cake scraps for dessert tomorrow so no dessert, unless they want peaches or bananas
