Tonight I made a roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, biscuits and fresh pineapple. I made cakes today one for an auction, one for a birthday and a small one for here at home(because how dare I bake and not bake for them)

Well, I was waiting for DS #1 to tell me what he wanted for dinner (I told him I would take him out), but he went and had leftover pizza (Thur is pizza night; I go out with friends every Thur). Now I'm hungry and don't know what to have! DH is at work (he is the chef at an Italian rest.), DS #2 is staying with my folks for the weekend....man, I wanted to go out!! Oh well, Weight Watcher TV dinner, here I come! icon_sad.gif

Thanks! Yep they are covered with Antonia's royal icing. These are the little 1" wilton cookie cutters (plastic) so I had a few different shapes. Did these last valentine's day and tossed them on the plates with the conversation hearts. I just loved the display (as you can tell since they are still there 4 months later icon_lol.gif )

Went to a friends house for a birthday party last night. They cooked out. I had a burger, pasta salad(YUM), baked beans and a snickerdoodle cookie. Granny makes the grandkids a large cookie cake for their birthdays, I also took a german chocolate cake.
Don't know what we will have today. I usually don't cook on Sundays.
The sun is out here today. Hope you all have a great day.

Last night was Taco Bell icon_rolleyes.gif Tonight was a salad and some sort of Stir fry. The stir fry wasn't great, but I won't complain...my FATHER-IN-LAW actually cooked, well heated the package contents up. This is a miracle in our house cause the man "can't" more like wont even use a microwave!!!!

WELCOME NickyA good to have you at the table.

Last night DH went and got subs from a local pizza place. I have been spring cleaning and the day got away from me. You would think my house would be spotless by now but NOT so. Yesterday I washed windows inside and out in the living room and formal dining room. I also washed all the sheers and window scarves. Cleaned under the furniture, dusted, cleaned base boards....and when I was done in those rooms I decided to clean and organize my laundry room. Tonight I'm going out with a friend so no cooking for me thumbs_up.gif Have a good day y'all.

Kay...I actually keep trying to get DH to sell this house. The dream to have a big house....and a maid to clean it. Well part of that happened. Only, I'm the maid.lol Our house is big, not huge, but really theres no need for so much space. I want to down size, but thats not going to happen right now. I am using cleaning as therapy. I can't wait till the top secret cake is done.

Julinda...Jaz's cake is so cute, you did a great job. Did she love it? Did you go to the doctor's? How did it go?

mkolmar...sorry your so tired girl. How much longer till schools out?

leily...beef noodles and home made bread sounds yummy. I have been wanting homemade bread....but if I make it I will eat it.lol

Went out with a friend. Dinner was ok. Over priced and just ok, not a good combo for me. Oh well, time out with a friend....worth it.

Hope everyone has a great day.
