LOL no not trashy, I guess I just read it in context and never thought about it. Just like DH... it is either Dear husband or Duncan Hines, I just take it in context icon_lol.gif

And dinner tonight is Cheese Totino's pizza rolls! with fruit ... BF (boyfriend) is cooking icon_wink.gif

I have become a die hard Rachel Ray fan. This is night 9 in a row from her cookbooks.
Stuffed baked potatoes and spicy chicken sandwiches.

"Kids foods" has some really great recipes! I also have the "365 no repeats" book. I get hungry just looking through them.

.

That does sound yummy. I want to get one of her books but wasn't sure which one. I like easy fast recipes. The kids one might be an option. I was thinking about the express lane one.

Oh not sure yet what's for din-din.

Extremely humid and hot today, so I played inside.

We had cream biscuits, honey, black pepper sausage gravy, thick-sliced, hickory smoked bacon, cheese and garlic grits and eggs.

These biscuits are so easy to make, and so tender!!!!

Didn't know if I could post recipe - but here's the page:

Yum yum yum, some real chefs here icon_biggrin.gif

I had organic steak and this quasi japanese/italian salad I created- (I eat lots of salad so I experiment a lot LOL) - Italian salad blend (in a bag - nice change from buying head lettuce) to which I added some leftover sushi rice, ground up nori (seaweed used for sushi), roasted sesame seeds, japanese vinegar, oil, s/p, and wasabi powder. Quite tasty thumbs_up.gif

no dessert- I am not big on dessert cept for my ice cream 'problem' LOL but I only indulge in that once in a while and I save the sugar sampling for when I'm baking, which means that I'm sick of anything sugary sweet the rest of the time anyway icon_lol.gif

I cannot believe I just sat and read through all 14 pages of this post, I never do that!
Im eating pringles and cheese dip right now, Matt will probably have a hot dog, anna will get whatever keeps her from screaming (bad mommy!) and DH had a meal with corporate people at 4, and today was his store eval and he has been so nervous I dont think he will want anything else (cept maby some good ol jack)

I really did cook last night though, DH and the guys were at the store most of the night getting ready for the big wiggs visitand I surprised them iwth dinner. I had to make alot of food to feed 6 men, tood me over an hour to peel 10 lbs of taters!
Pork chops in golden mushroom soup(campbells, very good stuff!) fried Okra, real cremed potatoes and sister shubert rolls. I experimented with a cake to. I made a lemon cake mix, added orange jello, glazed with orange marmelade. I did NOT feel like messing with buttercream so I stoped at kroger and got 2 tubs of frosting and frosted it in the back of the durango, lol. I colored some of it green and usesd the star tip I braught to pipe good luck and pout a shell border on bottom, star border on top and let matt throw sprinkles on it. DH decided that we couldent cut the cake, he wanted his bosses to see it today. OMG I am so emberased cause I litterally decorated this thing in the back seat! I could jsut kill him, lol.

I could keep talking but I have a feeling that this is already going to take up alot of space, sorry...

My BF took me out to my favorite local restaurant again. I had a grilled chicken sandwhich with swiss cheese, bacon, and a honey mustard sauce. And had fruit on the side. Oh I also had about 1/2 cup of my BF's asparages soup (you know had to taste it icon_lol.gif ) with some breadsticks.

Oh and we got to sit out on their screened in patio tonight. It was in the mid 90's today with high humidity but in the patio it was perfect, in the shade and enough of a breeze that the humidity wasn't as noticible.

Although.. now I am hungry for Outback! maybe this weekend.

Leily
