Well, just so everyone knows I usually eyeball these ingredients but this is the approximate of everything.

In a non-metal bowl combine:
2 cups of water
1/2 cup of olive oil
1 1/2 cups of orange juice
2 tablespoons of Jack Daniels whiskey
2 tablespoons dried onion
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon of basil
1/2 teaspoon of marjoram
1/2 teaspoon oregano
black pepper to taste
dash of Tabasco

Trim fat off boneless, skinless chicken breasts (I've done this recipe with three breasts at a time so far) and pound if it needs to be flattened. Put in the bowl of marinade (chicken should be fully submerged, if not add some water until it is), then cover with plastic wrap and put it in your fridge for forty-five minutes.

Remove from fridge and add to a pan coated with some of the marinade, and saute, turn, saute just until done (but don't overcook it!), I usually add some more pepper as I cook it.

It's really quick and easy and don't worry about exact measurements, marinades aren't really exact things

Mkolmar....Sorry you had such a awful day. When it rains it pours. Heres hoping today is a better day.

Oh, and yesterday I posted at 8 am ....so no dinner yet. I ended up going out with my girl friends last night. We got together to look at pictures of our trip. One of my friends made a dvd of part of our photos. It was so much fun. My girlfriends are the best. Even with all the daily crap we go through we can get together and laugh till it hurts. We are all a little depressed that it is 11 months until our next trip all together, although we are already planning it. icon_cool.gif

Nikki_B.....thanks for the recipe. Sounds good and I can always use a new recipe for chicken.

Kay...I pray that your DD gets better real quick, and that none of the rest of you get it at all. Hang in there girl.

Tara....how awesome that she scored. My dd played for the first time this past fall. Our church did upward soccer. It was such a positive and fun experience for her. We didn't know if she could or would do it (she has a form of autisim), but she did and can't wait until it starts back up.

butterflyjuju...pizza sounds good. Are you planning on telling her soon?

Have a great day ladies. I have no idea what we are having tonight. Since I was gone last night I'm sure they expect me to cook icon_wink.gif

Oh my... I have been so stressed lately. Being laid off is really getting to me. I was pretty cranky yesterday so I went to the kitchen to cook icon_smile.gif I ended up making my favorite.

Porcupine Meatballs
Mashed Potatoes
Corn
Biscuts

My BF told me I need to cook like that more often when I am stressed b/c that was the best meatballs I have ever made.... he was dissapointed when I told him I didn't go off of my recipe, I just went by how it looked, so he knows it will probably never replicate it again lol

Tonight i'm still unsure... it depends on what I find out on my job search today (we'll see if it stresses me out more). I had a call yesterday from the company I really want to go to that they were going to offer me a job, but I don't know what position it is yet, they had two open that I qualify for.

Today went better. my car is out of the shop and back to sounding loud as all tapedshut.gif coming down the road icon_lol.gif This is just an A to B car I bought 2 weeks ago to save on gas (it takes me about 35 minutes if I'm hauling butt to get to school) go figure I only drove it 4x and it broke down. As long as it's not my Expedition breaking down I'm happy. That's my kid haulin vehicle.

Tonight is leftovers and whatever else I can scrounge up around here. I have to go volunteer tonight at church in the nursery/toddler room so whatever it is it will be quick to make.

Thanks for posting that recipe--sounds great Nikki-B
leily- I do that too! I make something that goes by look and can never get it to taste the same again. But hey, those meatballs sound good.
ohara- where's the next trip?
Tara- That ROCKS that she scored a goal. You must have been cheering so loud
kay- hey twin! I hope you all are feeling well soon!

Ok I think we're having burritoes tonight. That all depends if mom brings home burger meat. DH has been wanting some.

Yay! Today my nausea isn't near as bad. Not sure what helped it. Hope it stays away as I need to clean a couple of rooms before my brother gets here this weekend.

We wanted to wait until I was 12 weeks before telling mom. But I'm quickly outgrowing my clothes so it may be sooner than later. Hopefully we can wait until the ultrasound on the 6th of March. Want to make sure everything is okay.

Olive Garden was the choice. I wanted the steak thing I had the other day but it wasn't on their lunch menu. so had.
1/2 bowl Zupa Tuscana soup
small salad
Breadsticks
Chicken with Fettucine Alfredo

I so wanted their chocolate dessert but didn't have enough room for it icon_cry.gif

tonight we're going to the comedy club to see one of the comics from a season of Last comic standing (i don't remember which one atm though) and then they are having another show right after of Dueling pianos!! I am sooo excited to see this show!

So we're going a little earlyl and having dinner at the comedy club. So will probably be a cheeseburger with a variety of fried foods in their appetizer tray.

Oh i can't wait! But it doesn't start until 8P.M. tonight so it's going to be a late night. I wish I could go sleep and get some rest so I can make it through the night but I doubt I can icon_sad.gif

I think I will make a nice salad and I have a chocolate cake (new recipe from the cake doctor cookbook) in the oven right now... So dinner will probably be Pizza, salad and chocolate cake. ( Alot of words just to say that. sorry icon_redface.gif )

leily...have a great time tonight. Let us know how it goes.

fossylady...WELCOME to the dinner table. Your dinner sounds great.

juju-- I hope you feel better soon girl. I was praying to the porcelin god with each of my pregnancies. A few nights I even slept in the bathroom. It will be worth it in the end though when you cuddle the new little one!

Tonight was burgers, chicken strips, onion rings, french fries and milkshakes. The kids and DH were very happy but I'm getting over a stomach bug so I just had oxygen! icon_lol.gif It was tasty too. In fact I may splerge and have some water. icon_lol.gif

Tonight was ham sandwiches and pickles with m&m's for dessert.

I've not puked with my morning sickness but thought I was going to a few times. I remembered that sweet tarts help keep it away. I bought a huge box of the rolls of sweettarts at Sam's last night. Takes about 1/2 a roll or more a day but at least I can eat.

Tonight was pizza again.

I have sinus allergy headaches. And being preggers makes me tired anyway. So these headaches put pressure on my eyes causing them to want to close. I fell asleep eating my breakfast this morning. My poor kids woke me up just before I spilled the cereal. I kept falling asleep on them. I was trying to let DH sleep in. I had to go wake him up and explain why I couldn't stay awake. I fell asleep standing there asking him to watch the kids. OMG! So I went to sleep in the recliner and didn't know much of anything until about 4pm. I'd wake up and talk to a kid now and then but might have been talking out of my head for all I know. I feel much better though. Hopefully that won't happen much more.

not sure about tonight haven't decided. We are going to my great neices b-day party at 2 so I think maybe tacos, they are quick and easy to make.

Last night we went to Outback (hadn't been there in 5 yrs) and had the worst steak ever! Plus the service was horrible, we waited about 10 minutes before someone even came and asked if we wanted something to drink.. Customer service has gone down the tubes EVERYWHERE. UGGHHH

The kids had tomato soup, grilled cheese, sliced peaches and choc. chip cookies. I'm still not that hungry so I ate some pretzels dipped in peanut butter and a cookie. (how can I turn down a cookie?)
DH had to fend for himself.

Took a cheesecake to church today. We always have potluck after the service, so... icon_smile.gif

At church, we had lasagna and a really wierd "salad." What it was, ?? It was like all kinds of vegetables chopped up into bite size pieces, and covered with mayonnaise or something. The dressing didn't really have much taste. Now that I think about it--it was more like a creamy sour cream. But it tasted great. It had like green peppers, onion, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and cucumber. I loved it. Went great with the lasagna.

Came home and late this evening I made meatball subs. Easy and good!

Ok I am Back to Reality icon_lol.gif

Tonight I made Battered Fish (Schwans) icon_lol.gif And Tator Tots. Had to have something easy.

The show went good. I sold more candles today than in the last 2 days. The bad weather really hurt us. But today was a great one. I had made some WASC cupcakes (reg. and Choc.) not frosted. For some samples for some of the venders. They were a huge hit. They all took my card. And the one said she would get with me in a month for a cake thumbs_up.gificon_lol.gif

I was so exhausted last night. My niece called on Thursday and begged me to make a cake for her. She wanted it Sat. normally not a problem. But since I was at the mall from 9-9 on Friday that made thing tough. And DD needed something for Bake Sale on Friday also. And dumb me without remembering the Bake Sale told niece ya. So Thursday night I baked a sheet cake half french vanilla and half Choc. and useing the WASC recipe. I thought I had enough sour cream but was shy by about half a cup. So had to run to the store at midnight to get it icon_cry.gif So while cake was baking I made puppy chow for DD bake sale. So I only got an hour sleep. Then went to the mall. Got home and started icing the cake got to bed at 3:30 and up again at 7:30. And bake at the mall for another 10 hours. So last night I crashed hard. I didn't have to be ther till noon today Thank God icon_lol.gif So I got me some great sleep thumbs_up.gif

So all weekend was Mall Food. It was good and bad. The best thing I had was Sweet and Sour Chicken. They only had 3 places to choose from for food. A pizza place, orential, and a pretzel place. Not much at all icon_cry.gif

I hope everyone is doing OK.
