ok casserole was decent, will definitely adjust the seasonings next time for our taste though. The leftovers are ready to go Knox just need an address, but I don't think they'll be warm by the time they get to you

Well it has been a few days since I checked in last. Tonight was dance clas for DD. Along with teacher conferences so taco night . I made the fixins you decide how you want it. Last night was fix your own kind of. DD wanted the norm for this site MAC AND CHEESE. And Dh and myself had ham sandwhiches. And I think DS feasted on the Choc version of the WASC cupcakes I made. I don't know what else he ate. The night before that was Helper Chicken Fried Rice.

Ooh, tacos and steaks both sound great! We haven't had mac n cheese for ages, will have to have it next week. This is a kid-free weekend, so leftovers unless the guy wants to cook.
Last night was dd's actual bday, so we had her favorite - Chinese. Took it easy and let Schwans cook for us 
and I just heated it up. The Sesame Chicken was good, but the rice is spicy for kids. Added the "dumplings" they sell as well, and it filled us up. Four servings is NOT four servings here!
Knox- hope you get enough orders to make up for going bananas with that cake!
In the middle of cake decorating hell right now. Due at 12 tomorrow and I'm like half done.

Ok was a Fun Night. Our town has a Daddy Daughter night. They have a dinner and dancing and alot of fun. DH and DD won a huge ballon basket full of little teddy bears. They had to call me to find a different vehicle to transport it home. Now we are hoping there kitten (CHEVY) won't have fun with it and pop it. Cause it will be a huge bang. They had Lasanga, Breadsticks, Salad, Chocolate Mousse with Lemonade or Iced Tea. DH said it was better than last year. This year they were served there food at the table. Last year they had to stand in lines forever and they kept running out of food and had to wait for more to be made. So DS and I had a date also. He even dressed up and surprised me. We went to see my sister and she took our picture so maybe when she gets it to me I can post our pic. We went to his most favorite place to eat Nick's Gyro's. I had a Gyro and Sweet Corn Nuggets, he had a Meat and Cheese Pita with Sweet Corn Nuggets. Then I put him to work moving some stuff for me. 
He will do anything for me if I fed him his favorite food And it was to funny cause we sat down to eat and they were playing our song Old Time Rock and Roll. He and I danced to it when DH and I got married. So imagine my teenager carring our water and dancing to our seats.
So enough about me.
Knox I am praying for you to have the strength to get it all done.

Zmama Chinese from Schwan's is great. We like the Sweat and Sour Chicken and Eggrolls. I don't know how many servings it is suppose to be but if DH is hungry he will eat the whole thing himself. Sometimes I can get him to share alittle if I give him extra eggrolls I think we tried the Sesame Chicken also and thought it was to hot.

Ended up with both of my BF's nephews tonight. Man I wish they were sleeping atm, it's almost 1 AM and my BF and I are starting to get a little sleepy... i'm young.. but man I can't handle these late nights anymore, I'm getting old fast!
So I prepped lasagna this afternoon to just pop in the oven when they came. Then also made breadsticks. I think it was one of the best lasagna's i've made so far... lol, yeah I don't mind tooting my own horn
Oh yeah but between lasagna and dinner I starting making one nephews treats for V-day party at school. Ended up going with Rice Krispy treat hearts. Made two double batches and formed them to the large comfort grip cookie cutter-i think they are absolutely adorable, I also tinted the MM in one batch red so we have red and white hearts hehe. Then the nephew decorated them with some candies/sprinkles I picked up and I think he may be picking up a few things from me. They turned out cute. Once I recharge my battery on the camera i will download the pics and post.
Oh yeah, then we went bowling and had some fries there, and then came home and we didn't have dessert (yes I got a lot of crap for not making extra rice crispies... not my fault nephew has 30 kids in class!) Anyway, so just took some Rainbow Chip cupcakes out of the oven and waiting to cool so can frost. (Yeah I know I so cheated, but it was quick and easy, and I can frost them with canned frosting 
shhh... don't tell)

My goodness you all have been busy. Last night DH and I took my MIL and BIL out (for MIL birthday) I had balsamic vinagraitte salad, eggplant parmesain, bread with dipping oil and a pistachio cannoli. IT was sooooo good. We didn't get out of there till almost 11 pm though because we had a very late dinner. Yesterday for school the culinary class went on a tour of the Jiffy plant (the only one in the world) in Chelsea Michigan. I was very impressed with how the plant was ran, employee and price friendly plus it was so clean you could literally eat of the floor! Then we went out for lunch and the waitress brought out fresh made bread (it was so buttery and light---I could live off of this bread alone!) I had coleslaw with fresh cracked peppercorn and then a HUGE maple bbq pork sandwich that came on a buttery kaiser roll. Yes, I ate very well yesterday!!!! and lets just say I'm still really full this morning. Ok, my kids are fighting now, I'll come back later to see how ya'll are doing.

Tonight was honey BBQ ribs, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, and grands biscuits with homemade butter and honey butter. YUMMY!
The kids had chicken instead of ribs though because there was more bone than anything. But the ribs were super yummy. Gonna try the same recipe with some pork chops sometime.
One can of broth (or any you have leftover works)
BBQ sauce
Honey
BBQ seasoning
ribs
water
I put in the ribs in the crockpot and squirt bbq sauce and honey over them. I then sprinkle the bbq seasoning over the ribs. Poor the broth over the top and add water to cover the ribs. Cook on high all day! YUMMY!
Went on a dinner date with my dad tonight We went to the local italian restaurant again. Tonight I ended up having a Taco Pizza mmm... my favorite!

I got STUPID yesterday with that BAD-A$$ cake for the granny's birthday----I FORGOT MY CAMERA!!! So---when I get the pics from the lady, I'll be posting that one. It was so pretty, though. Y'all'd be proud. Proud like a momma, I'm tellin' ya.
Tonight was Olive Garden for DS and I. Yuummm. We both had the scampi-bruschetta appetizer, and he had seafood alfredo, I had the scampi. AMAZING!!

I forgot to post what we had last night I babysat so I made Grilled cheese and Ramen noodles. Picky girl was still picky and pouty And tonight was late lunch early supper. Frozen Fish patties, French Fries, Baked Beans.
Tonight I had to start stuff for Valentines parties for DD. I made the Puppy Chow for school. And I am going to make some small heart shaped cakes for her Girl Scout party. I got some Silicone Heart Pans (they are about 3 inches across) They had them half off at Hobby Lobby yesterday. Never used the silicone to bake. Has anyone got any tips??

leily YUM me want some Taco Pizza. I haven't had that in forever. I use to get it from Pizza Hut all the time. Then they stopped delivering the Taco Pizzas You had to go and pick them up. So I haven't had one for a few years
yester was a very screwy day. I didn't get a lot of sleep the night before, then took a nap late afternoon. I did do about 5 batches of rice krispies into hearts, 1 lg batch of sugar cookies that I now get to decorate today, and I also did homemade caramels... which I cant' wait to cut into today!
So for dinner last night I had leftover lasagna, and my BF had i think spagettios and meatballs as his dessert after eating sugar cookies and rice krispies all day!
hmm... now I am hungry for the Olive Garden and a good Cheeseburger...
We had taters au gratin casserole.
I fix a box of taters au gratin like the box says. Add a drained can of corn, extra cheese, and chopped ham. Then bake like it says on the box. YUMMY!
I'd rather have broccoli instead of corn but DH doesn't eat green veggies.

OK we had some DA Deer stew It is cold and snowy so wanted something warm and yummy. That and some Fried Bread to soak up the yummy stew DD wasn't to big of a fan of it. But put Ketchup on it and she will eat it If I would have just said stew she my not have had a problem with it. Cause it tastes just like Beef Stew
Knox gotta love what comes out of kids mouths At least he didn't say it looked like POO. My Teenager said it once and it was a funny week when we ate that cake Pork Chops and cornbread. Dang you are making me hungry

HEY everyone guess what? my college actually canceled today because of the horrid conditions right now outside. YES!!!! I didn't have to drive to school! But mad in another way because we are starting work with piping chocolate and making cool designs on plates and to stick out of desserts so that's one less day to study it Why couldn't this happen when working with fish! My kids are happy right now because they are at home now too.
DH's clients all canceled today because of the weather so he went to the office. Glad he did! The pipes froze and busted open starting to flood the building. His offices carpet is only a little wet. whewww! all those computers would get fried! But the office next to his ceiling caved in and water was just pouring in. He said when he walked in he just heard a ton of water pouring from different places in the building and as he was running down the hall is was completely covered in a few inches of water. He hurried up and unpluged all of his stuff and moved it to the table and desk and then found where to turn off the water. Called the owners and they said "Jon, we only go there to check on the building every few weeks. I can't imagine what the damage would be if you wouldn't have been there. I know you talked to Marcia (his wife) yesterday about moving your office to your house. I just want you to know that we need you here to keep and eye on the place so from now on you don't have to pay any more rent. Just stay rent free since we know we can trust you"
Tonight is probably going to be soup and sanwiches---I may change my mind though.
OK I did change my mind. We had breaded fish, homemade (drum roll please) MAC N' CHEESE and green beans. MY 
kids wouldn't even touch the mac n cheese since it didn't come out of a box. I'm so disapointed.
Yall this house is a WRECK They came & painted the ceilings today & there is paint & dust everywhere this house is a DISASTER!! ALL the funiture is in the middle of the room. Yall its going to be nice when it gets done.
The kitchen is so messed up. So I went to Papa Johns & got Mom & I a pizza.
Tommorrow. another messy house. Who knows shat for dinner.
Had to go buy another vacuum today. Spent $80 on it. Not too awful bad, I reckon...but dang! My old one just WOULD NOT pick anything up. It started getting worse, and finally I realized I wasn't CLEANING, I was just RECYCLING the dirt! Literally---it was just dragging all the dirt around.
So today I went to Wally's and got one of those Eurekas that has the spinning duster in it. LOVE it! That thing's practically self-propelled! It'll do for a while, anyway. You should have SEEN that dirt cup thing. It was half-full after just the tiny living room!
Baking a two tier shower cake for tomorrow. So dinner tonight is fend-for-yourself. DH and I had bbq, DS is having frozen pizza.

Tonight was homemade cheeseburgers, and Southwestern Style Pepper Jack Cheese Soup (from Campbell's)
well everything I made on monday I delivered to my BF's dad's business just as a treat. Well I should have delivered it earlier in the day because I left with an order for 6 dozen rice crispy treats in the shape of a heart (pictures will be posted today in photos)
So since I then had to stop at the store for ingredients and I knew I was going to be busy I picked up chinese food on the way home, good 'ol Mongolian Beef 
I did make it through the night and even had time to watch a movie!
Delivered them this morning and my customer has already delivered the treats to their customers and they got rave reviews! So maybe i'll get even more business out of it!
Tonight... still to be decided, we'll see how much of the mess I get cleaned up in the kitchen today on how much I cook for dinner.
