Daltonam, why would you have to go 2 hours away to get seafood?

Did you go to the shore? Omg---omg---a couple years ago when we were vacationing in Madeira Beach, we went to a seafood restaurant there. SO GOOD. SO, SO GOOD. icon_biggrin.gif

I'll have to ask the Old Man (DH) what it was called. It was there near the beach.

Don't know what's for supper tonight. I'm trying to figure out a design for a tiny wedding cake for the 25th. I'm thinkin' maybe basket weave and cornelli. Hmmm... icon_sad.gif

Eh hiding works LOL, every time I've made meals for the nieces and nephews I make them get their RDA of fruits and veggies, sometimes they just dont know they're eating them icon_cool.gif

Well since I live in the south, you can probably guess whats for dinner at our place. Uh huh!!
Chicken Fried Steak
Mashed Poatoes
Corn
and of course, all that covered by creamed gravy!!

Didn't say it was health food. After all just read my signature line. Its my philosophy icon_biggrin.gif

OH my am I glad to be back... I missed this thread! Although now I have more ideas! I wasn't able to use my computer for about a week b/c of some problems on it and not feeling well. So i'll just highlight the best meal I had in the last week.

Saturday went to my uncles wedding and they had Grilled New York Strip steak with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans.... (oh with an open bar icon_lol.gif )

Then for desert (the catered part) they had Turtle cheesecake (i usually don't care for turtle, and my bF doesn't care for caramel or chocolate....) Oh my we both agreed this was the best cheesecake we had ever had.... everyone at our table was HMmming after every bite... it was soo good!

Then one layer of their wedding cake they had a friend bring a cake from Magnolia's bakery in New York (I have to say I actually didn't care of it. It was kinda dry and I didn't care for their icing... but personal preference-and it was picked up and flown in the same day) And I didn't have enough room to try all the other flavors.

Ok think I hi-jacked enough of this thread... Sorry

Leily
