And I also love spam, fried on bread with mayonaise!
My husband is grossed out when I eat cottage cheese mixed with a can of fruit cocktail. It's delicious!
My roommate in college liked to take a small glass and crumble up graham crackers in the glass and then add milk until she got a super thick (oatmeal-like) consistency and then she'd eat it with a spoon. It looked disgusting, but it did actually taste good.
I am also guilty of liking the ice cream & french fries combo. I like my fries with shakes/frosties/blizzards....you name it! My hubby thinks I'm crazy! My mom is the queen of liking weird food combos. Some of her faves are sour cream on her pepperoni pizza & baked beans and potato chip sandwiches.
Zmama, my dh loves chocolate milkshakes but he wants it made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
I don't make my Chocolate milk shakes any other way. never even crossed my mind to make it with chocolate ice cream... hmm maybe that comment should be in the "are people really this stupid thread" 
I put potato chips on my sandwich, instead of on the side. Adds a little crunch
When I have hot breakfast cereals (oatmeal, grits, etc) I make it very thick, then put it on my toast like a sandwich. DH thinks that's really strange.
We've been having a big debate at work about if french fries dipped in a milkshake would be good. Sounds good to me!

I always put my chips on my sandwiches and my grits on my toast!!!!! And my daughter loves to dip her french fries in a choc shake!!!!
But one of my favs is a banana and pnut butter sandwich! And a fried pnut butter and grape jelly sandwich!!
I also will only dip my cookies in orange juice! YUMMS

does anyone here eat leftover buttercream on graham crackers? I don't know if it's weird or not. My mom always did this with my sister and I when we were growing up.

LOL, i never thought it was weird b/c my grandmas always did this too. But I did it one day and took it into work and I got a weird look like what is this? Guess it isn't as common as I thought it was.

When I was younger the only way I ate white and red beans is if it had ketchup in them. Needless to say I don't eat them now...I had to eat them at the babysitters!!! EWW!!!
Oh and I also do love McDonald's Fries with a Hot Fudge Sundae with extra hot fudge!

I eat pinto beans with salsa. Down south alot of people eat chow chow (marinated squash relish) or chili sauce on pintos, but if I don't have either one of those, my next choice is salsa...hot sauce in a pinch.

Like some others have said, I also love graham cracker "sandwiches" with buttercream. Yum! My mom used to give those to my sister and me as a snack sometimes when we were young, too! How funny!!

I can't stand ranch dressing on anything, but pizza. I also put Louisana Hot Sauce on my pizza, will dip my sandwiches and love it on tuna fish 
I have a co-worker that puts a slice of cheese on her glazed doughnut and melts it, not that's GROSS

My mom likes apple pie with melted cheese too. She also likes overripe tomatoes sliced on a white bread sandwich with lots of mayo, salt and pepper. Alot of folks eat that around here but she just likes hers oozing with juice. It gets all soggy! YUCK!!!
Yup and in Winter I love the chinese snake soup. Luckily my whole family does as well, but if I tell people in Europe, they go "gross". I like a couple of other things as well like the salted dried fish, but then I live in Asia, so I might as well try everything. First thing I taught my daughter as well, she can only judge, whther she likes it or not, when she's actually tried it. Can you imagine, never having tried that brown stuff called chocolate? You wouldn't know how good it tastes, until you try it.
Let's see...some "poor people" food I ate growing up:
wilted watercress fried in bacon fat
fried polk greens(another wild plant) & eggs
corn bread crumbled in buttermilk (brother-in-law eats it with pnut butter as well)
tomato & mayo sand.
pnut butter spread on Kraft single cheese
Things I eat now:
scrambled egg sand. with ketchup & pickles
steak with ketchup
Dad eats grape jelly, mayo, & bologna sand. GROSS
Sister-popcorn dipped in sour cream & onion dip

One of my favs. is PB, banana & marshmallow sand. on buttered, grilled toast made in a frying pan. TRY IT!
