I wanted this 6" vanilla cake to look like a galvanised, monogrammed planter, so painted it with edible silver, bronze and black paints. The sugar flowers were hand made and include roses, freesias, and poppies, as well as fillers and foliage.

Handmade gumpaste booties and a gumpaste daisy adorn the top of this ducky - themed baby shower cake. The cake is covered in fondant, with fondant waves and gumpaste ducks. The inset photo shows how the cake top decorations were attached to a fondant-covered keepsake plaque to give to the mom-to-be following the shower.
Made for a friend's Christening, children wearing actual clothes worn on the day.
Created for my friend's mom who turned 45 yesterday. Pale mint green colour fondant with sugar flowers and free-hand piping. And a peony rose dusted in very pale pink. The cake is vanilla sponge with vanilla-curd cream and banana (according to my friend's wish ;)

this cake was for a girl who adores her dog and cat and loves almond and cherry trees. It is a double barrel cake and I really loved it... it had also hand painted details and the trees were made with inner stucture that took many many hours! :)
Pram cut out from 8" round maderia cake, and placed on prepared baseboard covered with sugarpaste. I used a garlic press - to make tuffs of GRASS from sugar paste, beneath the blossoms on board.

Just trying something new, This is my first time using dummies and handpainting (the silhouette ) the 3D umbrella is fondant.
