Galvanised Planter
I wanted this 6" vanilla cake to look like a galvanised, monogrammed planter, so painted it with edible silver, bronze and black paints. The sugar flowers were hand made and include roses, freesias, and poppies, as well as fillers and foliage.
Well it certainly looks like the real thing. Your flowers are gorgeous and this is perfect.

So beautiful! I just began creating sugar flowers and it is amazing to see them come to life! Do you have a favorite brand of cutters and veiners? My DH bought me a wilton flower kit with a whole lot of different cutters. Also on the little blossoms did you make your own center for them? Thank you for sharing your beautiful cake, it really inspires me!
