All buttercream with real ribbon and silicone or rubber-like Calla lillies. Didn't particularly care for the type of calla lillies but the bride bought them--they were heavy.
All buttercream with silk roses from bride. Original was a Wilton design--have made this cake with Ivory C-scrolls and pink C-scrolls.
Made from 3 12X12 cakes. Covered in fondant with fondant accents. Never had a request for an Amp cake before and thankfully the bride and groom took very good, detailed pics of the actual amp. The only thing I didn't like is the buttercream lines on the front--I was very tired by the time I got to that part and my hand was shaky. Next time, I will use my SugarArt gun
This groom's cake goes with the "Simply Pearls" Bride and groom are in pharmacy school...so he wanted the mortar and pestel incorporated as a topper. Also loves AC/DC and wanted names fashioned with the same type of letters. Don't know where the lightning bolt comes in but he wanted that incorporated, too. Kinda has a gothic, castle look to it.
Bride wanted the quilted pattern with pearls. This bride came in with her design in mind...I spent more time with the groom on his cake. 12" dummy with 10", 8", and 6" french vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and fondant pearls rolled in Super Pearl Luster dust
This cake was created for a bridal shower. Bride's colors were red, black and white. No other request, just "do whatever."
Toy box made out of Rice Krispie treats and covered in fondant. All sports balls are also fondant.
The bride requested pool blue for the fondant accents. Pearls were rolled in NuSilver Luster Dust. Hey Gracefull, I'm starting to get the hang of the corners.
1/4 sheet and smash cake with a Western theme. Embossed fondant "belt" border, bandana and cowboy hat
These are a 12", 8" and 6" cakes. Buttercream frosting and fondant monogram letters.
The bride requested a suitcase cake for the groom's cake. Choc fudge with coffee filling. This is a 12X18X3 pan for the bottom of the suitcase. Then another 12X18X3 cake that the pan was only 1/3 filled with batter. Buttercream frosting that was textured with crumpled paper towels, fondant straps, buckles and handle. Fondant "England" banner that was brushed with a cocoa powder and vodka mixture, then sponged on the edges for more definition.
These cakes were made to match the invitation. Used the small oval pan from the Wilton course 2. Made air-dried buttercream roses a day in advance. Center was sprayed with Wilton canned spray color. Antennas were made from melted Jolly Ranchers. Roses on the open-winged ladybug were put on fondant-covered cardboard.
THis smash cake goes with the jungle animals cupcakes. On the other side is the tiger and zebra.

1/2 sheet cake with B/C frosting. Gumpaste flowers purchased at ICES last year. I bought several boxes and this is out of my last box...good thing it's time for the convention and I can stock up again.
Mom requested a 2-tier star cake. Used the Wilton star pan for bottom, then reduced a copy of the Wilton insert and carved top cake from a 10" round cake. Reduced pic again and carved smash cake from 6" round cake. Accented with cake sparkles.
Forgot to take a new pic of cake without the "bump" on it. 1/4 sheet with ball pan cake on top. Birthday girl requested a pink and purple beach ball.
Sorry this pic is kinda fuzzy. Could not find a cutter for a christening gown, so I used an angel cutter and just removed the head. I only wish the gown part was a little longer.
I made the correction on the cake but only AFTER I delivered it. It was for a retired schoolteacher's mother that is involved with children's church. I asked my assistant if I spelled Proverbs right, she looked and said yes. I guess I should have asked he to read the WHOLE thing. Carved from a 1/4 sheet cake with fondant accents and BC lily of the valley flowers.

OK, this is a disaster in the making. I'm sure I will be posting an "after" pic later. Wonder mold pan for the body, Sprots ball pan for the head. Fondant eyes and nose. Rice Krispie treats for arms and legs. I had to remove eyes and nose for the transport b/c the head was starting to split. Legs were splitting...dang... and the party is outside and it's 90 degrees here.
These cookies were decorated to match the invitation. I had to cut back on some details b/c I was starting to loose the chandelier. Accented with luster dust.
I have made so many flip-flop cakes this week, I could open a shoe store. Here are a patriotic pair--this cake goes with the patriotic cookie bouquets posted earlier. Shaped from two 1/4 sheet cakes with fondant stars on sides. Fun foam straps with ribbon and silk flower.
This centerpiece is for the main table at an Ambucs dinner. Used a styrofoam cone for the center. 6 large patriotic heart cookies, 1 Amtryke cookie decorated on both sides and 12 smaller heart and star cookies accented with colored sugar.
This cookie bouquet was created for an end-of-year Ambucs dinner. It holds 5 cookies (4 hearts and 1 Amtryke cookie). The heart cookies are placed so that one blocks the back of the other and the Amtryke cookie is decorated on both sides.
This cake was a near-disaster, but I still love it. THis is acutally "Plan B" after part of the top tier fell off. Buttercream frosting with fondant accents.
