These flip flops were made with the middle oval pan from the set. I would go look up the size but I'm too tired. Frosted in BC with fondant accents, large chenille pipe cleaners for the straps and silk flower decoration.
This started out as my favorite cake of the day but then I put the bow on at the reception site and I felt it took away from the cake. Freehanded scroll work with real ribbon and fondant bow.

This was cake 2 of 3 sculpted cake...unfortunately I was running late and did not get cake 3. THis cake was made for a 50th BD and carved from an 11X15 cake and egg pans for the "buns". Frosted in BC with fondant trim/pockets. THe belt is kinda hard to see, but was a fondant strip with candy "rhinestones" made from Jolly Ranchers.
This was cake 1 of 3 sculpted cakes for today........and perhaps my favorite. The bass drum is a 14" styrofoam dummy and all fondant. The snare drum is a 2-layer 12" tomato spice cake. The other drum is a 3-layer chocolate fudge cake. Both of those are frosted in BC with fondant trim. The names were made with Printshop and due to time constraints were just cut out and adhered with water. The stands are a combination of cake plates with pvc pipe painted silver. As as the legs of the bass drum.
1/4 sheet cake with a small oval carved into a skull, Rice Krispie treats for crossbones. Skull and crossbones covered in fondant.
This cake was created to match the plates. Dump Truck cut from fondant.

This cake was created for a wedding at a winery. Quilted pattern with handmade fondant pearls. Sugared grapes on top of cakes. Didn't realize that the air return vent showed.
This bouquet was created for a door prize at a volunteer function.
THis was for a surprise 50th BD party. The birthday girl loves the topsy-turvy cakes and likes the bright colors. Tried to make it as small as I could. Used 10", 8" and 6" cakes, BC frosting and fondant accents.
This cake will have dolphin candles on it. The mother wanted it to look like the ocean because the dolpahin candles looked like they were jumping. She requested some underwater items on the sides.
This cake is for a 1st birthday. The back of the dump truck is made from yellow candy melts. The wheels are mini donuts. Accents are fondant. The actual truck cake measures 6" X 4" X 4" and was cut from a 1/4 sheet cake.
Cookies were made with a cutter that I re-shaped into the design I needed. I keep several of the thin silver cutters (in all sizes) on hand just for that. Penney's cookie recipe with royal icing.
These were made for Drill Team try-outs--modified cowboy boot cookie and a good luck cookie with mascot paw on it.
