Alice In Wonderland
this was my 40th cake, I love Alice in Wonderland...kind of went over the top...but that's what we cake decorators do lol.
this is actually a cake of my car...just a different colour. was made for my car club here in Adelaide, Australia. was a massive cake and as I have one in real life I was very particular about how it looked....still think I can do better lol, but I'm sure we are all like that
The Flying Scottsman
i made this for my little boy who loves steam engines. he had his party at a train museum this year and the flying scottsman was the cake he asked for. everything is edible, the time in this one was huge. one wheel alone took me nearly 4 min to make....and i had to make 20! again though, once i found my groove to did come together quickly, I still think I can improve on it, but I"m guessing that not too many would ask for something like this due to the cost
I made this for my boss, His wife asked me to make him a cake as he's never had a 3D cake himself lol. I was up for the challenge and came up with this. I wanted to put as much detail on it as i could, i figure the more the better when it comes to cakes like these. It took a while, but once in the groove it came together well. thanks for looking :)
50's Birthday Cake
this was made for a customer who loves everything 50's. had a total ball making this cake, so bright and happy, what makes it better...she loved it.
Dragon Fly Cake
made this for my aunty. she loves dragon flies and i was lucky enough to find a mould on ebay. quite a fiddly little mould to work with but very pretty.
made this for a regular customer, very happy with this one. I added a few touches to make it my own. The sale is made from card stock and the number 5 is chip board. thanks for loking
i saw this cake on here and knew straight away that a good friend of mine would luv it, so this is my take on the cake....ty to the artist who originally made it
was asked to submit a cake for Cake Central Magazine and was lucky enough to get in. such an honor to be asked, thanks for giving me the opportunity Jackie
Topsy Turvy Wedding Cake
This is my Royal Adelaide Show entry for this year, it came in first...which I'm stoked about because it's the first time I've entered a cake.
I made this for a good friend of mine who had a bad accident this year. It's her birthday so I got to make the cake. It's the first time I've used a stencil and the first time stamping a cake. I used a scrapbooking script stamp for the top.
