Night Garden Cake Topper
hi, these are for a special little girl who loves her "in the night garden", her mum just wanted some of the characters, iggle, uppsi, the 5 hoohaa's and 1 of the tumbie woos...not sure if I spelt them all right lol. For those who don't know its a kids tv show. This is my third cake/topper that i've done this year alone for the in the night garden, and I reckon i'm about done lol

In The Night Garden/igglepiggle 1St Birthday Cake
this is my second in the night garden cake. This is for a little boy who loves igglepiggle, the cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream covered in fondant and figurines made out of paste. I'd never made a boat before so that was quite a challenge, I also decided to pipe the stitching around iggle's blanket, which i didn't do on the 1st cake. I wanted to keep it boyish, so there's no flowers but i think the trees help finish the cake. I'm hoping Mitchell likes it. Thanks

Pink, White And Silver Wedding Cake
This cake has a long story. I offered a cake for a fundraiser for a woman with terminal cancer and the winner wanted a wedding cake. I had never done a wedding cake before but she said she wanted something simple, similar to a cake i had done before. It's my second attempt at a bow ontop and i think I"m getting better :) The cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream. Thanks for looking.

Chanel Bag
This is a cake that someone asked for. They had a pic of one that is on here by Rikki0422 and asked for the same. I hope it did it justice. I changed the handles to lay by the side because it's a bit humid here atm but it stills looks like the original. This is my very first purse cake, so i'm kinda proud of it. thanks for looking :)

The bottom is chocolate with chococlate b/c and the top is orange poppy seed with orange b/c and all covered in fondant icing. A lot of firsts here, first time i've done a cake like this and the first with a bow...which i need to practice on. Any feedback would be welcomed, thanks for looking.

Flying Pegasus
This is my daughters 6th birthday cake. The cakes themselves were relatively easy, i was anticipating the horse to take for ever but was surprised that it didn't. This is my 6th cake to date, i think, and with each one you discover new ways to make it easier. I used plenty of foam to hold the wings in place and to support the horse on the cake so it wouldn't sink. I think i have a bug now, can't seem to stop haha.

Musical Man Playing Guitar 3D Cake
This is my very own design. I made this for my dad's 60th, he's in a band and plays guitar so I thought something with him would be a god idea. I made him with his black and white magpie beaine with his usual cuppa and biscuits sitting on his amp. The cake is just a 20cm round cake with a marbled fondant icing on top. I made the music sheet out of modeling paste rolled thinly and painted the notes myself and added a little dusting on the edges to give it an antique look. He loved it.

Dragon And His Castle
This is my second attempt at 3d cakes, my first was thomas. The dragon was a lot of fun to make, a little fiddly but came out ok in the end. I found that i used to much glue at first to stick the towers on and they started to slide, so now I know...don't use so much. The kids loved it, which is the point isn't it :)

Pirate Cake
This is my sons 4th birthday cake. He wanted to have a pirate party and this was the cake he picked out from a Debbie Brown cake book. It's covered in rolled fondant and the little pirate is made out of modeling paste. It looks harder then it actually is, if i didn't have two kids running around it would've taken a lot less time. One thing i did find out though was to use a foam brush to apply confectioners varnish (which is around on the water) the next time i use it. Was not aware that the varnish would turn the brush to a sticky blob.
