60Th Anniversary Miniature Roses Cake
Made this for our good friends parents 60th Anniversary. It's a very tiny cake. 1 layer each of 8", 6", and 3.5" pound cake. I torted the bottom 2 layers and filled with homemade raspberry filling. Iced in buttercream and covered with fondant. Then I used super pearl luster dust to give it some sparkle. The miniature roses are made from gum paste. They are smaller than the tip of my pinky finger. I love how delicate this cake turned out. I'm adding a 2nd picture to show how small it really is.

Giraffe Baby Shower. My First Cricut Cake.
All the designs on the side were cut with the cricut. It gave me a run for my money trying to learn to use it and get a job done at the same time. Nothing like a little pressure. It worked though! WASC with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. Giraffe topper was made with mmf and tylose. This cake matches the bedding set they chose for the baby's room.

Fall Thanksgiving Centerpiece Candle Cake
Made this for display at the bakery. The ScareCrow Festival in the Village starts tomorrow and it creates a lot of foot traffic. My boss wanted to get some seasonal cakes in the front window of the store so I did 2 candle cakes today. I really like this one. Might make one for my own Thanksgiving table. :)

Halloween Centerpiece Candle Cake
Made this for display at the bakery. The shop is in a little shopping village and they start the Scarecrow Festival tomorrow. Every shop in the Village has to make a Scarecrow that somehow depicts who they are. It creates a lot of traffic so my boss wanted to get a couple of fall sample cakes on display.

Variation Of A Buddy Valestro Cake For Display In The Bakery
My boss just loves Buddy's cake from the Wedding Cake Competition on Food Network. So here's my version for our front window. I had some real issues with this guy including the fact that one of the bakers iced it in Royal and it was all lumpy and had air bubbles. My boss's husband didn't want to use that much fondant on a display cake. So... I tried to make it work and cover as many of the imperfections as I could. It was a real challenge stenciling on lumpy royal icing but all in all, it turned out pretty and the customers seem to like it.
