Since my other posted similar cake was so well received I thought I'd post this one too. It was made many yrs ago - about 20?:) The tiers are 12, 9, and three 6"ers.The top tier is actually one layer 6" round and a 1/2 ball on top of it. Daisies are royal icing. This would serve about 112, yet looks much larger.
This 8x4" round is iced in b'cream. The 'love guy' is a sugar cookie (or use fondant cut-out) w/mini marshmallow legs & choco molded hands & feet. (on toothpicks.) Customer provided pic of b'd girl which I printed on a frosting sheet. Star borders & piped bows and your done:)
Here are four of the 100s of 10" heart cookies made for Valentine's love Day:) I usually offer chocolate chip, brownies, sugar cookie and butter pecans. They are simply decorated w/buttercream and molded items - fondant cut-outs; gumpaste or sugar lay-ons. I had 100s of different love sayings and never made two exactly alike.
Bottom tier consists of one layer each 8, 9, 10; iced in buttercream, then airbrushed. Top tier is 6x4 w/one of the two layers cut at a slant. All decorations are fondant cut-outs.
This 10" sq is iced in buttercream; the toasting glasses are one mini doll skirt cupcake cut in 1/2. They are iced in a pinkish-brown, then piping gel is added to represent the liquid. Streamers are fondant stripes, wrapped around a straw & dried.
A 9x13x4" sheet; iced in buttercream. Sunset colors airbrushed. A stencil was used for the palm tree. Shells are chocolate molded. Ferns are gumpaste.

A 10" heart sugar cookie decorated for Valentine's day with buttercream. The candles are fondant, cut with a Christmas cookie cutter.
This was actually a wedding cake satellite but would make an excellent choice for an engagement, birthday, anniversary or shower. The flowers, leaves, ivy & buds are all gumpaste. Presenting the 10x4" buttercream iced round on chamfered drums really dresses it up. Each board comes covered in foil, then I added fondant which is textured. The twigs are floral wire covered in florist tape. Keep the flowers the focal point by using a 'snail's trail' border (tip 2).
This 3 tier, swiss dotted cake is iced in champagne colored buttercream. The flowers are silks.
This is a 10" chocolate chip cookie decorated with b'cream icing. The angel is sugar molded, then colored with the airbrush. I make the cookies from cake mix. Each mix makes 3 cookies. Each is placed in a pie box and sold for $10. I usually make around 100 each V.Day.
The sheet is 12x16x2 iced in buttercream. The heart is chocolate molded. The arrow is fondant. Could be used for an anniversary, birthday or any love affair:)

The buttercream iced tiers are decorated with fondant swags, roses & borders This was a very small, low budget wedding :) tiers are 14/10/&three 6"ers.
This is a small cake for use over a fountain....only a 12/9/6 with two 8" round satellites. All icing is buttercream.
Gumpaste hearts and red ribbon decorate this 9 tier buttercream iced cake. 16/12/9/6 with Four 10" round satellites should yield 308 servings.. Silk rose petals & fern decorate around the fountain.
Inspiration for this bear comes from a craft pamphlet on painting wood:) The basic body shape is cut, then the legs, arms, snout & foot are cut along w/a small 'spacer' rectangle for each. When glued together the bear sits upright. He is about 10" tall; maybe 6-7" wide. Great for Valentines, Day; engagement, anniversary and probably other occasions.
I know a bit out of style for today, but this was made about 5 yrs ago:) Tiers are 14, 10, 6, 8, & 6. All buttercream. Drop strings. Silk flowers provided by bride. Plastic lace triangles, stairs; fountain.
This 6x4" round is iced in buttercream. Commercially molded sugar hearts are attached to a sucker stick for elevation; the cupid's playing the harp is molded of fondant . Flowers also are fondant w/some silks. Made for a lady's Valentine's Day birthday.
This buttercream cake is 12x16x2; textured with a paper towel. Gumpaste flowers are airbrushed black. Borders from tips 18 & 2.
Thisl buttercream wedding cake consists of 12, 9, 6 rounds. The separator is a 4" styro round covered in fondant lace (from a mold). The 6x3 top round is also covered in the same lace. Flowers are commercial gumpaste corsages. Base borders are beads from a fondant mold.
The tiers are 8 & 6. The 6" is iced in b'cream under a layer of blue fondant while the bottom is iced in buttercream w/fondant stripes. Cutters were used for the fondant rattle & lambs. Sleeping Baby is also fondant w/a bit of GumTex added. Base board is 3 cake circles glued together & covered in freezer paper.
A single layer 10" round iced in buttercream. Design inspired by one in a Mary Ford book. Flowers are fondant; Iris is molded in a soap mold and airbrushed. One half of a fondant 2-piece mold was used to impress the lace design on the side of the cake. (I wasn't getting paid enough to use the fondant lace on this.) Borders are done w/tips 8 and 2.
Even though this was made for a business event I'm posting it as a general, generic sheet cake idea that can be used for many different occasions w/just a bit of changing:) The wording is an frosting sheet pix that was supplied to me. The 12x18x2 sheet is iced in buttercream then is textured w/a paper towel on the top. Drop flowers were used for accents, along w/fondant stars. All piping is done w/a large round tip in a zigzag. Could be used for a birthday; graduation; or other event.
A single layer 8" round iced in buttercream. A sq of fondant is the scarf. The hat is fondant w/GumTex added, as is the yellow rope. The boot (on the side of the cake) is molded chocolate. I made this while living in an RV at an elevation of 8500 ft.
