August Cherry Blossoms
This is a 8 / 10 stacked sinfully chocolate cake with caramel filling. The recipient was a 12-yo girl who was completing her chemo therapy, and her parents threw her a huge party bash. The girl loves Japanese animae, so it was a Japanese party theme. I'd been wanting an excuse to do this cake, and I LOVED how it turned out. The client was extremely happy as well. RI flowers, bc branches.

Mairi's 6Th Birthday Cake
My daughter decided to combine two Barbie cakes found in the 2003 Wilton Yearbook. Top tier is 6" WASC heart with raspberry filling, and the bottom tier is 8" marble round with bc filling. RI flowers and bc decorations. I was up until after midnight finishing this, and I wasn't happy with my smoothing. Who'da thunk putting a different colorin the top vs. the sides would be so darn difficult??? Oh...the top tier leaned pretty badly - props to my dad for taking the pic so it isn't noticable!

High School Graduation 2008
Chocolate Cherry 11x15 sheet cake with 6" round WASC with raspberry filling ornamental tier. BC icing, RI roses and apple blossoms. I made 18" vines to wrap around the cake and pillars, but they were so heavy they sank into the BC. I ended up enhancing the vines with more roses and leaves as necessary. The plaque is gp and fondant mixed. It was hard as a board and sitting up leaning on the pillars, but the humidity caused it to tip over, so I ended up laying it down. Looks just as good that way :).

Girl's 6Th Birthday Cake
I found a pic here of a similar cake which my client wanted. The original had chocolate transfer horses. Thanks to whomever did the original, whoever you are! The birthday girl was turning 6 yo - she requested WASC with raspberry filling. It was very yummy she said :). 6" and 8" rounds, bc icing, silk flowers, and ribbon. It was my second attempt to do ribbon around the bottom edge. I so liked the way it turned out.

Spring Pregnant Belly Cake
I've been dying for an excuse to make a belly cake since I saw my first one here. I was really happy with the way it turned out. 11x15 WASC cake, cupcake boobs, and Wilton's Soccer Ball for the belly. The mom-to-be didn't know hat she was having, but loved lavander / green. She ended up having a little girl in March!

Emily's Confirmation
This cake was a direct result of the 50th anniversary banquet cake I did for church. At the end of the banquet an aquaintenance approached me and asked if it was too late to order a cake...for the following week! She wanted it "exactly like" the book cake I'd done the week prior for a baptism. Chocolate Sour Cream Cake with White Chocolate Cream Cheese icing. BC and RI decorations.

Holy Trinity 50Th
This was for my church's 50th anniversary. It was my first large stacked take(14/12/10/8), my first square cake, my first handmade topper, my first lily flowers. Two tortes per tier. That was alot of headache in torting the larger cakes! BC icing, RI flowers, gumpaste topper in the form of the church's emblem. I took the blue inspiration from someone here, but can't recall the name at the moment. Thank you if you recognize your cake! Oh...my dad made the cake stand for me, so Kudos to him.

Firemen Jack And Dylan
Thank you 4kidsrspecial for the inspiration on this cake! It's a classic yellow butter cake, BC icing, fondant and colorflow decorations. The back side of the cake actually has all these cool gumpaste molds which can't be seen. The "3" is colorflow (first time), and the flames are fondant with the letters handpainted. Sizes are 6" and 8". The mom just adored it :).

Dragon Cake
This was for my own son's 7th birthday. White cake baked in a tube pan, then cut and sculpted with the help of marshmellows. He has been obsessed with dragons since he was 4 yo. He loved this cake! He told me afterwards that it's a Chinese Lung Dragon (as evidenced by the lack of wings :)) Leaf Tips #69 & 67 for the scales, Star Tip #16 for head. Candy Corn claws and teeth.

25Th Wedding Anniversary
This is the first time i've done anything remotely resembling a wedding cake. I am very proud of how it turned out. 3-tier, 2 tortes per tier. Top and bottom tier white chocolate cake with raspberry filling. Middle tier bittersweet chocolate cake with white chocolate-rum whipped ganache. BC icing, RI flowers
