Tiramisu Cupcakes II
Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- Cupcakes:
- 1 box of white cake mix
Espresso Syrup:
- 2/3 cup of water
- ½ cup confectionerâs sugar
- 5 teaspoons instant coffee granules
Creamy Coffee Filling:
- 1 (8oz) package of cream cheese (softened)
- 3 tbls. coffee liqueur
- ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 ½ cups of whipping cream, whipped (Cool Whip)
Cream Cheese Buttercream:
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, (softened)
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter, (softened)
- 1 (16 oz) confectionersâ sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Tip: Use foil baking cups
Instructions
- Cupcakes:
- Bake as directed on box.
- Espresso Syrup:
- In a small heavy saucepan over high heat, combine the water, ½ cup confectionerâs sugar and coffee granules. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Use a fork to poke a few holes into cupcakes so that they will absorb the liquid. (Note: I use a small barbeque brush and paint the espresso syrup over the cupcakes)
- Creamy Coffee Filling:
- Beat cream cheese, coffee liqueur and sweetened condensed milk until well blended. Fold in the whipped cream. (Note: chill at a minimum of 4-5 hours, best to make a day in advance)
- Cream Cheese Buttercream:
- Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy. With mixer on low, slowly add sugar, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary. Add vanilla and increase mixer to medium. Blend until frosting is fluffy.
What is the A in front of the 1/2?
and again what is the A?
what are the quantities of confectioner's sugar, condensed milk, whipping cream & butter?
The A in the numbers and the word confectioner's is an apostrophe. The computer just put that there when trying to convert your text to display it. Sometimes it can't convert symbols. This will probably have a few of them as well in the words confectioner apostrophe s and can apostrophe t.
So after you poke the holes and brush the syrup on how do you add the filling???
