Choc. chips cupcakes

Just tried a variation of the vanilla-white choc. cupcakes recipe I have and it surpased the original in taste. The best ever!

Choc. chips cupcakes


  • 1 Devil’s food mix
  • 1 small chocolate pudding
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet choc. chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 Celsius).
  2. Mix together cake mix and pudding. Add eggs. oil, sour cream and water and mix thoroughly for about 4 minutes. Add chocolate chips.
  3. Fill cupcake cups 2/3 full and bake for 25 minutes. You can frost them if you want, but they taste soo good and are so moist, frosting is not needed.
  4. You can bake these as bundt cake, for 55 minutes.

hi! these sound really good! one question... I always worry about leaving cake/cupcakes out that have sour cream in them. Can these be left out (in a container) or do they have to be refrigerated? Thanks!
