How long can the truffles themselves be kept--either refrigerated or in an air-tight container?
Hi Emilia K! You can keep your acorn truffles refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. The body (chocolate ganache) of the truffle could be kept for longer, up to 4 weeks refrigerated in an airtight container; but the acorn top ( peanut modeling chocolate) tends to dry out and crumble when preserved for longer than 2 weeks. Remember that chocolate absorbs odors, always keep your truffles airtight in a plastic container while refrigerated ;) I hope that you and your family enjoy them, as much as mine does!
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I freelance over the internet and earn about 80-85$ an hour. I was without a job for 7 months but last month my paycheck with big fat bonus was $15000 just working on my computer from my home for 5-6 hours. Here's what i have been doing... www Buzz19 com
I just happened to find a recipe IDENTICAL to this recipe here except for one detail. the other recipe has 1-2/3 cups heavy whipping cream while this one here has only 2/3 cup. This is a BIG difference in a recipe. In ALL of aspects the recipes are idential. I there a mistake or a type on one of them? I just don't want to assume its this one. This one may be the correct one. I could just do a testing but that's a lot of ingredients and money to waste on one that I know won't be correct. Any help or suggestions?
