Cream cheese sugar cookies

These are the sugar cookies I make for all the holidays. We all love them. They are a softer cookie, not crisp. Great flavor!

Cream cheese sugar cookies


  • 1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese (softened)
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups plain flour, sifted
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda


  1. Preheat oven to 350. beat cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla in large bowl until creamy. Add flour, and baking soda; mix well.
  2. Roll dough to 1/8 in thickness on lightly floured ( I use powdered sugar instead of flour) surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 min or until edges begin to brown. Ice with your favorite icing.
