Pumpkin Pearl Drops

Pumpkin Pearl Drops on Cake Central

We did this cake today for a bride who had a pumpkin theme....she loved this design! It was a ton of work, but probably one of the most enjoyable cakes to put together. The top is a large ball pan, and the two bottoms are 12 and 16 inch stacked 3 layers high and carved round. The baubles are fondant; roses and ribbons gumpaste. I used hidden pillars to stack.

Thanks! No, the cake board is actually a metal doo-dad I found at Hobby Lobby on sale...I thought it would make a nice cake base.
