Trombone Case Cake
My son is a trombone music performance major in college. He's having his Junior recital tonight. I made the cake for his reception as a surprise for him. The cake is WASC, covered in Satin Ice. The bell of the trombone case was made from Rice Krispie treats. The music, program cover and bumper sticker are edible images. The stand is custom made, covered in fabric and clear contact paper. The trombone is real, but I promise we won't eat the fondant under it. :o) I'm very happy with it!
