Yellow Rose Birthday Cake
I loved how this cake turned out, then I got a little sloppy with the writing : ( Other than that, I'm pleased! I finally found a leaf tip I can use--so this is the first time I've put leaves around my roses! This is all buttercream frosting.
Really pretty. How did you ice the sides? What tip and technique? I really like it.

Thanks--I love to use this design on the sides of a cake. I just use the 16 or 17 tip and do a small back and forth zig-zag pattern from bottom to top. The most difficult part is keeping the zig zag columns straight! :)
