This is my first attempt at a castle on a cake...thanks to all the help from everyone here on cc. All buttercream, used plastic dowels as sides of castle and sugar cones on top of the dowels. Not good at figures yet, so had to use store bought Ariel and friends. The picture doesn't show it, but extra "sand" and candy seashells were put around the very bottom of the cake as well.
